  35. The current revision of Ami-FileSafe is 14.03.

  37. Maxtransfer
  38. -----------

  40. The manual suggests that you should use 0xffff as your maxtransfer value
  41. if you have an IDE drive. This is incorrect and should be 0xf000.
  42.  
  43. Warning - If you change the maxtransfer value then ensure that the last 3
  44. digits are '000'.

  51. MultiUser FileSystem Support

  54. An  update  to Ami-FileSafe which support MultiUser FileSystem is available
  55. soon.   If  you want to obtain this update then please contact Fourth Level
  56. Developments or your local dealer.

  58. Installation

  61. If  you  have an older version of HDToolBox (WB2 and older WB3.0) then when
  62. you  try  to  add a new Ami-FileSafe partition you will find there is not a
  63. AFS\1 option.
  64.  
  65. If  this  is the case then click on "Custom File System" and then type into
  66. the "Identifier" field "0x41465301". The rest of the installation procedure
  67. is the same.

  69. DiskSpare and MultiFileSystem
  70. -----------------------------

  72. If you are using DiskSpare with the floppy version Ami-FileSafe then do not
  73. try  to use MultiFileSystem at the same time.  This problem should be cured
  74. in the next release.
