  1. Before you use MusicManIII the first time you have to do the following:
  2.   - if you want to run MusicManIII with german outputs, you'll have to
  3.     copy catalogs/deutsch/MusicManIII.catalog to LOCALE:catalogs/Deutsch/
  4.   - copy the newest release of the "reqtools.library" to LIBS:
  5.     (included, please check for version first!)
  6.   - copy the newest release of the "cdplayer.library" to LIBS: if
  7.     you want to use the internal cd player
  8.     (included, please check for version first!)
  9.   - please read "MusicManIII.ASC"
  10.   - if you are a user of MMII you may want to run "ConvII2III" first.
  11.     it will convert all your files to the new MMIII-file-format.
  12.     new prefs will be in "ENVARC:MusicManIII/".
  13.     new files will be in the same directory as the old files.

  15. MusicManIII creates following files:
  16.   - #?.mm3 and #?.ptr
  17.     the file containing your data and its pointers (index)
  18.   - MusicManIII.Prefs
  19.     prefs
  20.
