- Final Data Release 3 Demo Disk
- ------------------------------
-
- November 8, 1995
-
- On this disk, you will find a sample Final Data Release 3 database
- along with 13 other files and this Readme.
-
- The database has 2 columns. The second column, "Name", contains the
- name of a file on this disk, while the first column, "Type",
- indicates what kind of file it is.
-
- To show or play the file, hold the Left Alt key and click the left
- mouse button anywhere in the "Name" column.
-
- Please Note
- -----------
-
- Be aware, if you double-click on the Demo.Datatypes icon on this
- disk, it will expect to find Final Data on a drive named Work:. If
- it is unable to find Work:, it will ask you to insert a disk named
- Work: into the drive. Also, if your Final Data drawer is not at the
- topmost level of Work:, Workbench will complain about not finding
- your tool. The easy way around this is to run Final Data Release 3
- and select the Open option under the File menu.
-
- As mentioned in the addendum, support for the datatype features are
- only available if you have Workbench 3.0 or later.
-
- Workbench 3.0 does not come with an anim datatype, so the SpikyBall
- demo (the last row in the Demo.Database) will not work if you have
- Workbench 3.0. Workbench 3.1 comes with an anim datatype, so
- SpikyBall should work fine for Amigas so equipped.
-
- Finally, due to a limitation in the sound datatype support for
- Workbench 3.0, longer sound files will not play in their entirety.
- Workbench 3.1 removes the limitation.
