  6. On this disk, you will find a sample Final Data Release 3 database
  7. along with 13 other files and this Readme.
  8.  
  9. The database has 2 columns.  The second column, "Name", contains the
  10. name of a file on this disk, while the first column, "Type",
  11. indicates what kind of file it is.

  13. To show or play the file, hold the Left Alt key and click the left
  14. mouse button anywhere in the "Name" column.

  19. Be aware, if you double-click on the Demo.Datatypes icon on this
  20. disk, it will expect to find Final Data on a drive named Work:.  If
  21. it is unable to find Work:, it will ask you to insert a disk named
  22. Work: into the drive.  Also, if your Final Data drawer is not at the
  23. topmost level of Work:, Workbench will complain about not finding
  24. your tool.  The easy way around this is to run Final Data Release 3
  25. and select the Open option under the File menu.

  27. As mentioned in the addendum, support for the datatype features are
  28. only available if you have Workbench 3.0 or later.

  30. Workbench 3.0 does not come with an anim datatype, so the SpikyBall
  31. demo (the last row in the Demo.Database) will not work if you have
  32. Workbench 3.0.  Workbench 3.1 comes with an anim datatype, so
  33. SpikyBall should work fine for Amigas so equipped.

  35. Finally, due to a limitation in the sound datatype support for
  36. Workbench 3.0, longer sound files will not play in their entirety.
  37. Workbench 3.1 removes the limitation.
