  1. The Options menu lets you configure various aspects of Pro-Organiser, and is
  2. split into three main areas ....

  4. SECURITY
  5.  
  6. It's possible to set up a PIN number to prevent unauthorised access to your
  7. organiser. This is initially set to 0000, but it is easily changed.
  8.  
  9. Lock Now - This instantly locks the organiser, and prevents any more access
  10. until the PIN number is entered. It's ideal if you are near 'prying' eyes,
  11. but need to go make a coffee or something.
  12.  
  13. Request PIN on Startup - If this option is ticked, Pro-Organiser will ask for
  14. the PIN number each time the program is loaded.

  16. Change PIN number - It can be changed to any 4 digit number.

  18. SETTINGS

  20. Animated Page Turning - If ticked, each time you turn the page it will appear
  21. to turn like a real paper page. It does slow things down though, so you might
  22. prefer to have it turned off - up to you.

  24. Bubble Help - Can be turned on or off - Once you've used Pro-Organiser for
  25. a while, you'll know what everything does, and the bubble-help can get a 
  26. bit annoying - especially as it can cause screen-corruption from time to
  27. time. When you get to this stage, just turn it off.

  29. Change Bubble Help Speed - Ideally, you should be able to 'hover' above an
  30. iconfor a couple of seconds before a help bubble appears. If your machine
  31. is any faster than a standard 2Mb A1200, then it will appear before then.
  32. This option lets you change that by entering a 4-digit number describing the
  33. delay. 0001 is instant (and flickery!), whereas 9999 would take ages. It is
  34. automatically set to 0850, so just alter 100 or so either way until if feels 
  35. right.

  37. Request Date On Startup - Pro-Organiser will automatically ask for the
  38. correct date each time it is loaded, but obviously this is
  39. unnecessary if you have a battery backed up clock installed. Deselecting this
  40. option will prevent the request from taking place.

  43. OLD DIARY ENTRIES

  45. There's no point in having old diary entries clogging up your disk drive, so
  46. you have the option of either letting Pro-Organiser delete old ones
  47. automatically every day, or manually deleting them yourself from time to time.
  48. A diary entry is classed as being old when it's more than a week old.
