  4. THIS IS THE SECOND BETA RELEASE VERSION ....

  6. No change in the proggy itself, but news for the legal environment ...
  7. This program is using the same algorithm as PowerPacker®, but the
  8. algorithms themselves are not pattented, unlike other LZH and others.
  9. So ... big thanks to Nico François for using a not-pattented algorithm ;-)
  10. Anyway, I made other tries with better algorithms ... better results but
  11. sh*t, all these algorithms are pattented in the United States.

  13. Next version will include another non-pattented algrithm, as I plan to use
  14. some code from CrunchMania (®© Thomas Schwartz). I need to get in touch
  15. with Thomas for that, but he doesn't seem to have an Email address.
