  6. This is the first public release of NSDPatch. It requires OS 3.1
  7. and turns almost any Exec device into a device that looks compliant
  8. to the New Style Devices standard by Amiga Technologies. This will
  9. do for most users that e.g. can't easily get an NSD upgrade for
  10. their devices.

  12. It can also be used to provide a fix for broken devices that do not
  13. support IOERR_NOCMD correctly.

  15. It can also emulate NSD 64 bit behaviour on top of HD_SCSICMD or
  16. TD64 supporting devices for V43 FastFileSystem compatibility and
  17. support of >4GB devices and partitions.

  19. Also a tool named NSDQuery is included to check devices for their
