  3. If you will be using the CD³² emulation frequently, it would be
  4. desirable to obtain an actual CD³² joypad intead of relying on the
  5. keyboard emulation.  Either a genuine Commodore CD³² joypad or
  6. a 3rd party joypad plugged into the second joy-mouse port will
  7. be recognized automatically by the system.  You may also want
  8. to disable the AsimCDFS keyboard emulation of the joypad via the
  9. CD³²_Prefs program.

  11. A number of games are not written in a system-friendly manner.
  12. In order to obtain the maximum speed from the Amiga, the game
  13. will disable multitasking and take over the keyboard and other
  14. input streams.  In this case, our keyboard emulation may not function.
  15. The only alternative is to use a proper CD³² joypad.  As noted
  16. above, if you are going to be using the CD³² emulation for any
  17. amount of gameplaying, we would strongly suggest the purchase
  18. of a separate CD³² joypad.

  23. The following titles have been tested and are known to work
  24. with the Amiga 4000 and Amiga 1200 computers.  For testing,
  25. a CD³² joypad was used.

  48. Note that it is recommended to have FAST memory present in your
  49. system into which the AsimCDFS software can be loaded.  Many
  50. titles require the full 2MB of CHIP memory and may crash or fail
  51. if AsimCDFS is loaded into this area.

  54. Note that, by default, the AsimCDFS installation procedure will
  55. disable the autobooting feature.  If your controller supports
  56. autobooting (most controllers do:  ie Amiga 3000, A4091, A2091
  57. A590, GVP line, etc...), you will have to manually set the
  58. 'Autoboot' option to CD³²/CDTV.  Use AsimCDFS_Prefs for this purpose.

  61. Please note that the above list is not a compilation of all known
  62. CD³² titles.  If you do not see a particular title listed, this
  63. does not necessarily mean that it does not work.  We will, however,
  64. be updating this list.  You can obtain the latest version from
  65. either our FTP site or from our BBS.

  68. When autobooting with GVP accelerator cards for the Amiga 2000,
  69. we noticed that AsimCDFS would not autoboot when a setcpu
  70. command was present in the s:startup-sequence.  If you have problems
  71. with a similar situation, you will want to try autobooting
  72. with this setcpu command removed.
