  98. **** 1: Basic Usage **************
  99.  
  100.     Using AsciiArt Pro is simpler then ever because of its new 'DPaint'
  101. style interface. All the tools are in buttons on the right of the screen.
  102.  
  103.     To draw an ascii picture, all you have to do is select an ascii
  104. charecter, either by using the table in the button bank, or just press
  105. the one you want on the keyboard.
  106.

  108. **** 2: Brushes ******************
  109.  
  110.     To pickup a brush, you click on 'pickup' in the brush menu, and
  111. mark out the area you want as a brush.
  112.  
  113.     You can then paint with it like single charecters. If you want to
  114. stop using the brush (to do some detail with single chrs) click on the
  115. use button (clicking again will turn it on again)
  116.

  118. **** 3: Using IFF pics ***********
  119.  
  120.     To convert a picture to ascii, just press on the 'convertpic' button
  121. and select a picture. To get the most out of this option you must play
  122. with the contrast settings in the iff 'options' button. It takes practise
  123. to get good results.
  124.  
  125.     If the picture is only 2 colours then asciiart pro traces around the
  126. shapes to make smooth ascii lines.
  127.  
  128. If you change the text colours then converting it from iff will use the
  129. next text/bg colour. (see 'AsciiArt-2ColShape.AAF')

  132. **** 4: Animation ****************
  133.  
  134.     To start the animation you first set the no. of fraims. If you have
  135. started an anim then you can add fraims to it.
  136.  
  137.     When you save you can use 2 formats -
  138.  
  139.     .AAF - AsciiAnimationFormat is my own format. At the moment AAPS only
  140.            supports uncompressed type 0 format.
  141.  
  142.     AsciiStream - This produces a big ascii file, and with abit of modifing,
  143.            could be used in BBS's/MUCK's etc.
  144.           * You can't load ascii streams back into AAPS.

  182.         there are a few bugs in the brush display and pickup, and I
  183.         will fix them for V1.0 release.
  184.         (you can only pickup brushes from topleft->bottomright)
