- Here is the history of AsciiArt -
-
- V1.0 Beta - Converted an IFF picture to ASCII text, Didn't work in NTSC.
-
- V1.1 Beta - Fixed NTSC bug and changed some small things.
-
- V2.0 - Basically started again, using the OS2.x like
- procedures by John.A Kinsella, and this time,
- insted of being a converter, it was a drawing
- package.
-
- V2.1 - Added the screen mode requester and automatic PAL/NTSC
- screen config so PAL users get the full screen.
- Also fixed a small font bug.
-
- V3.0 - Almost rewrote the GUI, making the edit screen bigger,
- and added some new features like brushes.
-
- V3.01 - Fixed the rounding error in the contrast and made it
- a bit more stable, and stopped the crashing.
-
- V3.1 - Added 2 colour shape IFF mode and standard amos requester
- support.
-
- V4.0 - Used the Intuition Extension by Andrew Church to let
- AsciiArt pro open a standart workbench screen,
- and fixed the loading/saving bug.
-
- V5.0 - Never made public. Had ascii animation support, but because
- of the menu system, was hard to use.
-
- StudioV.9- Rewriten GUI and a few extras. First non freeware version!
