  4. Here is the history of AsciiArt -
  5.  
  6. V1.0 Beta - Converted an IFF picture to ASCII text, Didn't work in NTSC.
  7.  
  8. V1.1 Beta - Fixed NTSC bug and changed some small things.
  9.  
  10. V2.0      - Basically started again, using the OS2.x like
  11.             procedures by John.A Kinsella, and this time,
  12.             insted of being a converter, it was a drawing
  13.             package.
  14.  
  15. V2.1      - Added the screen mode requester and automatic PAL/NTSC
  16.             screen config so PAL users get the full screen.
  17.             Also fixed a small font bug.
  18.  
  19. V3.0     - Almost rewrote the GUI, making the edit screen bigger,
  20.                and added some new features like brushes.
  21.  
  22. V3.01    - Fixed the rounding error in the contrast and made it
  23.                a bit more stable, and stopped the crashing.
  24.  
  25. V3.1     - Added 2 colour shape IFF mode and standard amos requester
  26.                support.
  27.  
  28. V4.0     - Used the Intuition Extension by Andrew Church to let
  29.                AsciiArt pro open a standart workbench screen,
  30.                and fixed the loading/saving bug.
  31.  
  32. V5.0     - Never made public. Had ascii animation support, but because
  33.                of the menu system, was hard to use.
  34.  
  35. StudioV.9- Rewriten GUI and a few extras. First non freeware version!
