  20. Welcome to final-sales preview of ** ART OF NOISE **.
  21. What the heck is AON ? I bet you already might have noticed,
  22. that this program is a kind of music tracker. But it is not
  23. yet ANOTHER tracker (like the 1001 protracker clones out there)
  24. but a real NEW tracker, of course completely new coded (no
  25. protracker source used!!). I tried to improve the old protracker
  26. format (which is surely antiquated already since ages..) and to
  27. create a new tracker, which should be the DREAM TRACKER for all
  28. amiga musicians.. (and all who want to become one ;)). I think
  29. I should give you a short summary of the new possibilities that
  30. AON offers you:

  32.  - OS2.0 look! no hardware hacking like in protracker
  33.   - Reqtools filerequesters
  34.   - CPU or copper viewmode split (for pattern-display)
  35.     (cpu needs more rasttime, but is more
  36.     system-friendly)
  37.  
  38.  - More instruments!! (up to 61!!) (1-9,a-z,A-Z)
  39.  
  40.  - More patterns (up to 128) (if you demand more, just
  41.    tell me!)
  42.  
  43.  - More song-sequences (Song-Length now up to 256)
  44.   - Restart-Position <>0 possible
  45.   - nice sequence-list editor
  46.   - new songlist-edit short cuts
  47.  
  48.  - More player-commands !! (increased to max. 62, 46 are
  49.    already in use!)
  50.   - Arpeggio (up to 16) + Any other effect possible
  51.     each arpeggio can have up to 7 partnotes, arpeggio
  52.     speed is of course changeable

  54.   - syndrums-commands
  55.   - new effects like vibrato&volume set/slide etc..

  116.  - memory usage e.g. for patterns is the same as in protracker,

  120.   - exchange tracks/patterns
  121.   - change volume
  122.   - wildstar-replace (like in any texteditor!!!!)

  124.  - player is easy to include in own productions (saves
  125.    player+mod files and executables )

  127.  - for the interested guys: The fileformat is MUCH better than
  128.    protracker (well, it wasn't so hard to improve THAT format)
  129.   - Chunk-format (like e.g. IFF)
  130.   - easy to expand (future versions...)

  132. There are is also a huge amount of more detail-improvemements, which
  133. are nevertheless very useful when composing music. Just load the
  134. preview and check it...

  142. The original will cost 79DM. You will get a printed, 60 page manual
  143. plus 4 Disks. At the moment, the manual is only available in GERMAN,
  144. but we are working on an english version, so stay tuned, if you are a
  145. non-german guy!
