  6. The PowerPlayer is a tool for playing music made with one of the supported
  7. music-programs or compatibles with the good old AMIGA stereo digital
  8. sound-facilities !  There have been many of these programs before, but
  9. PowerPlayer is something different:

  11. -cool fast tricky optimized 100% assembly code, most parts PC-Relative
  12. -works on CPU 68000, 68010, 68020, 68030, 68040 and it should work on the 68060
  13.  and all future CPUs
  14. -works with OS 1.3, 2.0, 3.0 without any problems
  15. -little pretty (?) play-window
  16. -maaaany optimized replays
  17. -PowerPacker-Library for using always the latest and fastest decrunch-routine
  18. -supports xpk crunched modules !
  19. -Lh-Library for deepest compression ever seen on modules (try it out !)
  20. -automatically extracts LhA-archives
  21. -powerful ARexx-Port for remote control of PowerPlayer
  22. -may be used in thousands of ways from WorkBench and from CLI
  23. -allocates its audio-channels with the audio.device
  24. -sends a message to an eventually running PowerPlayer, resulting in a
  25.  better cooperation between PowerPlayer and directory utilities
  26.  
  27. Non registered shareware version with even more features than the registered
  28. version (try it!).
