DREAM OF A HAMMER
-----------------

    In England, present day. That's where our story start. It was stormy
night. I (Brainie) and my friends (Awcy, Jukkis, Ooze and Particle) were on a
trip to a copyparty in Glasgow. Jukkis was driving the car and we were just
sitting and looking out from the windows. There weren't much to see.
Just fields and trees. There was a fly on the windscreen. The radio was open and
there came Puke This' new hit single.
"Come on!", Ooze said. "Put some music, man!"
Jukkis put in a cassette. Iron Maiden's Stranger in strange land.
I felt the same, stranger... Hours went by and I was feeling sleepy and others
were too. We were driving in a countryside and soon we were supposed
to be in Scotland. So boring. I hoped we would find a hotel soon. I wanted to go
to sleep. Suddenly we heard a great bang.
"Fuck!", Jukkis shouted. "We lost a tire! I can't handle this fuckin' car
anymore!"
Car just went forward the way it wanted. There was a big tree and the car was
going to hit it! I closed my eyes and hoped that everything would go fine...
But no way! We hit the tree... But gladly we had seatbelts on. Everybody was
uninjured. But we were in trouble. We were in Scotland, on the little road,
in countryside, and our car broken. What could we do? Another bad thing was that
it was raining.
Jukkis said wisely (yes it's true!): "Let's continue with our feet. Someone must
live near. Just take your necessary belongings and let's go
(I must be dreaming! jukkis is talking seriously!) I took my backbag where I had
some stuff. I also took my survival-knife (Rambo knife, you know) Others took
some things too. Rope, food, map etc. We began to walk. Storm was getting
louder.
Then we saw a crossroad. There was a little gate and a sign. We read the
sign: Strangers keep out!
"Well, let's go there", Jukkis said.
(Hahhaa! He is normal again! Grazy guy) We opened the gate (Squek, squek).
It was rusty old gate.
"I think there ain't nobody living here", said Ooze.
"Yes I think so too", said Jukkis. "Well, there is only one way to be sure
about that."
Yes, I know it. To boldly go where no man has gone before... (Sounds familiar?)
That can't be totally true, because there must have been someone! I don't know
how long ago...
    We began to walk again. It was a little road, trees growing both side
of it. It looked really gloomy.
"Only owl's scream is missing", Particle said.
How right he was ... Then we heard a loud scream!
"Well, eh, what are we gonna do", Awcy said.
"Well, hhmm, I think it was just an owl", said Jukkis.
(I really hope so...) We continued walking but now more carefully ...
Then we saw it! In a flash of lightning. Big and ugly and really, really,
uuhhh, castle (What did you expect we saw?)
"Let's go there and look if anybody is home", Jukkis said.
(I hope nobody is home...) We saw large doors... Jukkis knocked (Heart pumped
faster and faster) Big silence...
"I think nobody is home", said Ooze.
And then the doors opened (Aaarrrggghhh!)
There was a man standing there holding a candle in his hand.
"What do you want strangers", he whispered. "Didn't you see the sign? You
shouldn't be here. It's dangerous here", he said
(My heart is going to be overloaded)
"Well, uuhh, we drove an accident and we are searching for help", Jukkis said
carefully.
"I'm sorry boys, but I can't help you, because I don't have a car."
"Could we stay here over night? We don't have place where we could sleep",
Jukkis said.
(He is definitely grazy. No doubt about that. Sleep in place like this! That
man looks like a vampire) After a little pause the man said:
"Well boys, I have empty rooms. You can sleep in them."
We walked into a large hall. There was a little bit cold. The man showed our
rooms.
"I'm really tired", I said. "I'm gonna go sleeping right away".
Others were sleepy too. I opened the door and went into the room.
There was a bed, a little table with mirror and a wardrobe.
I took my clothes off and went to the bed. Usually it lasts long until I fell
in sleep, but then I began to sleep right away.
    I saw a strange dream: I was standing in a large field. I heard a voice
spoking to me. In a thunderous roar, it told of our creation, the time of the
usurpers and of the first death, our test of steel and might. Saying in the
time that is now henceforth called the resurrection, in this the fourth year,
a fourth circle would appear, alongside four who ride at the head of an army
called the immortals. Together, forever, they would stand against the
multitudes. And as the sky turned black, I felt the ground shake. And the voice
said on this very day unto our hands would pass this hammer. A sign of our
deliverance, and of  our coming, for all disbelievers to see and to know that
for us it's the end of the beginning and for them it's the beginning of
the end... And then I saw large hammer flying in the sky. But I didn't
understand anything. Then the hammer began to go round faster and faster and
faster... Then I woke up. I was in sweat.
I need water, I thought. I still could hear the voice speaking inside my head
and  I could see that hammer.
What does that mean? There must be somekind of answer to that! Then I felt
myself hungry. Hhmmm... Is there a kitchen in this place, I wondered.
There's only one way to find that out. I must try to find it! I opened the
door and walked out from my room. There were stairs going down.
I walked down. I came into the big hall. There were 3 doors. I went in from the
nearest door. It was some sort of livingroom. There was a big fireplace,
but no fire in it. There was rather cold. Strange that there wasn't fire...
There was a painting on the wall. It was picture from a old man. It looked a
little bit same as the man who opened the door to us. Must be his father in
that painting, I thought. There weren't anything interesting (I mean food...),
so I left the room. I came to the hall again. I heard somebody coming down
the stairs! I went back to the livingroom. I looked from the keyhole who was
coming. Gladly it was Awcy.
"Hey!", I said and opened the door. Awcy almost jumped up to the ceiling!
"Oh, it's you! Don't never again do that! I almost got a heartattack!"
"OK, OK", I said. "What are you doing here?"
"I'm looking for something to eat. I'm hungry!", said Awcy.
"Hey, I'm looking food too!", I said. "Let's try to find the kitchen.
I already looked here (I pointed the livingroom's door) there was only a
livingroom, nothing interesting. Let's go in there." (I pointed the door
beside the livingroom's door)
"OK.", Awcy said. "I saw fucking strange dream", Awcy continued, "There was a
funny hammer and something else, but I can't remember it all."
"Hey! I saw that dream too!", I said.
Strange! There's something strange going on here. Two men can't see the same
dream! We went in from the door and what we saw: Jukkis eating a sandwich!
"What the fuck are you doing here?", Awcy asked from him.
"I'm eating. Can't you see it", Jukkis said mumbling.
"I saw a funny dream and I got hungry."
I and Awcy looked to each other with funny look in our faces.
"No! There is something strange going on here. Three men can't see the same
dream", I said.
"Don't worry about that", Awcy said. "Let's eat!"
"OK, but we must examine this castle."
"OK, later, later", Awcy said. "I'm hungry!"
While we were eating Ooze and Particle came to eat too! They told us that they
saw a strange dream... (Five men can't see the same dream, or what?)
    After eating we thought that we could examine the castle. We went to
the big hall again.
"OK, we have examined two rooms: livingroom and kitchen", Jukkis said.
"Here is only one door left. Let's go in there", I said.
Jukkis opened the door slowly... It was a large eating room. Large table in
the centre of the room with many chairs around it. There was a candle on the
table with fire on it. There was one door. We moved slowly near it... Jukkis
tried to listen, but there came no sound from other side of the door.
Jukkis opened the door. We saw a large store. Then we heard noises from the
big hall. We jumped inside the store and Ooze closed the door. There were
many boxes on the floor. We heard somebody opening the eating room's door
(aarggh!). We could hear loud steps coming near to the store's door!
"We must do something really fast", Awcy whispered...
Then something surprising happened...
Particle was leaning against the wall, when suddenly he went through it!
Actually it only looked like that. There was a secret door and Particle went
through it. After realising what had happened we went to the secret room.
Awcy closed the secret door. And just in time! Store's door opened...
We couldn't see anything, because there was dark, but we could feel those ugly
spider webs... And there was a lot of them. Gladly we didn't notice any spiders
there... Awcy noticed that there was a lock in the secret door. He locked the
door. And just at the same moment somebody tried to open the door... We could
hear some words like "Damn"... Again somebody tried to open the door, but
without luck. We heard somebody leaving.
"It's maybe going to get some tools to get this door open", Jukkis said.
"Let's get out of here!" Awcy paniced. Ooze tried to open the door, but he
couldn't unlock the door!
"Thanx Awcy again for great job", we all said...
"OK, now it's my fault that I locked this door? You should thank me, I maybe
saved our lives!"
"Yes, but maybe not! Now he's coming back and what he's gonna do when he sees
us here?" I asked.
"Hey guys relax", Ooze said. "Just follow me!"
"What", we asked.
"Here's a door!" Ooze said.
"Why didn't you tell that earlier?"
"Hah, some excitement guys!" Ooze replied...
Then a light went on.
"Yes, there really is a door!" Particle said. He got a flashlight in his hand.
"Why didn't you tell that you have a flashlight?"
"Nobody didn't ask..."
"Aaaargghhhh..." We tried to kill him, but he was faster. He went in
from the door... We heard a loud yell and for a little while no sound, then
a loud "splash!" It sounded that somebody (In this case Particle) had fallen
into the water. We couldn't hear and see anything...
"I think we must jump after him", Ooze said.
"OK, only if you go first", Awcy said.
(Women and children first...)
"OK", Ooze said jumped down...
"Flap, flap" (He tried to fly...) then a loud "splash"!
"Are you OK?" Awcy shouted to Ooze.
"I'm OK", we heard, "But here's..." then nothing.
"We must go down there or what?" I said.
I jumped next and then Jukkis and finally Awcy...
We fell into the water. It was a little underground river.
We couldn't do anything it was too powerful. We just tried to stay on the
surface and breath. After couple of minutes river's speed slowed.
It became wider. I could swim to a bank of the river. We were still underground.
I saw a light and guessed that it was Particle.
I walked towards the light. I saw Ooze and Particle sitting there.
"Hi guys!" I shouted.
They jumped up scared!
"Hah, hah!" I laughed. My laugh echoed long time from the walls.
Soon Jukkis and Awcy came too.
"Now we must think what we should do", Jukkis said. "Gladly we have a
flashlight." (Thanks to Particle. Also thanks to him that we are here...)
Jukkis took the flashlight. He pointed the light everywhere. We could see that
we were just on the little bank of the underground river. There was no way where
we could go.
"There's nothing we can do now", Awcy said, "so let's get some sleep!"
We went to sleep. It wasn't comfortable because we got wet clothes on and there
was rather cold.
    I woke up. First I didn't understand where was I. Then I saw everybody
else. They were still sleeping. Then I realised that I could see them without
the flashlight. I saw light coming from the crack on the wall.
I walk near it. I saw that there was somekind of door. I tried to open it, but
my strength wasn't enough. I waked the others and told them what I had found.
They helped me and together we managed to open it. We could see stairs going
up. We started to climb up. Jukkis went first (Our great leader in this
adventure!) After couple minutes we came to a door. Jukkis opened the door
(Squeeze, squeeze. Some oil would be good for that one).
We came into a little room. There was any door. We thought there would
be a secret door again. We searched and found a door. We opened it.
We saw the livingroom! We were in the fireplace! Our luck was that there
wasn't fire in it! (That's why there wasn't fire when I was in the livingroom
first time!)
"Let's get our things and get the hell out of here!" Ooze said.
We ran upstairs and went to our rooms. I grabbed my bag and ran out.
But still I was thinking about that dream. Well, it's nothing else than pure
coincidence, I thought. I met the others and we ran out from the castle and
what we saw outside! There was our car! And it was fixed!
"Wow! let's get in", Jukkis said. But I think we must pay to that man,
even if he is a little bit strange." Jukkis went in...
We waited about 5 minutes and then we began to be worried.
What's going on? We went in and heard sounds from the kitchen. We opened the
door... And there he was eating sandwich!
"What the fuck are you doing here?" we shouted.
"I'm hungry!" he said...
After that we left the place. We were on the road again. After a little while
I had a funny feeling. I felt that there was something strange in the back
of the car. I even could hear heavy breathing from there...
And then there came Helloween's I want out from the radio!
Oh shit, this is enough for me, I thought. But it isn't. When I looked out
from the window I saw a sign: Welcome to the town of ... Hammerfield...
