- To all good things, an end, there must be. And now that this
- eleven-day Journal Entry Marathon is over, you can rest. As can I,
- although as many people have noted, on day one I wrote an arexx/unix
- script so that all I had to do was turn my amiga on... and leave! The
- script logged into my local node, uploaded the proper files, cleaned out
- yesterdays files, summoned 'pnews' and posted. It even used 'vi' to
- change the headers to point halcyon instead of polari. Nice to be able
- to program as well as write. Of course, this is NOT the end of the Journal Entries. In the past
- ten days I've finished one and started another, and once they're
- sufficiently proofread, they're outta here. And I was able to do this
- while the posting was going on; I love my multitasker (Platonically, of
- course). Now that it's over, I will attempt to answer requests, but I've one
- small problem; my local node only allows my 300K of disk space, so I can
- only have about a third or a quarter of the JE's available at once. I
- will attempt to answer all requests, at least for the next few weeks. Thus far I have not received word of an archive site, and my two
- nodes are not available. That's the problem with being a local BBS'r. More information below:
