  19. 4. a little boy named Albert who wanted to play football. Every day Albert
  20.    would go to the football field oustide his school and watch the other
  21.    little boys play football. Oh, how Albert would have liked to join them! But
  22.    he couldn't, because Albert had to walk in crutches. Albert was crippled,
  23.    and he could not run like the other boys. Albert practiced every day 
  24. throwing
  25.    footballs, hoping that the other little boys would let him play because he
  26.    could throw the football so far. "Gosh," said Albert to himself, "I wish 
  27. that
  28.    I could run like those other boys." "Maybe one day you will," said a 
  29.    voice that did not belong to Albert. Albert turned to see who had spoken to
  30.    him. It was a man
  31.  
  32.    IF YOU WANT THE MAN TO MAKE A PASS AT ALBERT GO TO 6. IF YOU WANT THE
  33.    MAN TO HAVE A CRIPPLED DAUGHTER WHOM ALBERT PLAYS DOCTOR WITH GO TO 7.
  34.    IF YOU WANT THE MAN TO BE A FOOTBALL COACH WHO HAS A SON WITH A TERRIBLKE
  35.    DISEASE AND WHO MANAGES TO GET ALBERT ON THE TEAM, GO TO 5.

  37. 5.                       Albert had seen amny times before. His name was
  38.    Mr. White, the football coach. "Oh yes," said Albert, his voice trembling
  39.    with emotion. "I can't think of anything in the whole wide world that I'd
  40.    like more!"

  42.    NOW GO TO 8.

  44. 6.                      whom Albert had seen hanging around in the mall.
  45.    He wore a trenchcoat, and seemed to be wearing short pants, because
  46.    Albert could see the man's hairy legs sticking out from under the trench-
  47.    coat.

  51. 7.                      pushing a wheelchair in which a little girl
  52.    was sitting. "I'll let you sit in my wheelchair if you let me try
  53.    out your crutches," the little girl said.

  55.    IF YOU WANT TO CONTINUE AS THOUGH THE MAN WASN'T THERE, GO TO 11.
  56.    OTHERWISE IF YOU GO TO 13, THE MAN WILL INTERFERE.

  58. 8.               "What's your name, little boy?" asked the man. Albert
  59.    politely told the man his name. 
  60.  
  61.    IF YOU WANT THE MAN TO ASK ALBERT HOW OLD HE IS, GO TO 14 (I THINK).
  62.    IF YOU JUST WANT TO GET ON WITH THIS STORY THEN GO TO 15.

  64. 9.      The man had a funny look in his eye, which made Albert afraid.
  65.    He thought of running home and calling the police. But suddenly the
  66.    man grabbed Albert and put his hand over Albert's mouth.
  67.  
  68.    IF YOU'RE FED UP WITH THIS AND YOU WANT THE COPS TO CATCH THE MAN
  69.    BEFORE HE DOES ANYTHING TO HARM POOR LITTLE ALBERT, THEN GO TO 16.
  70.    OTHERWISE GO TO 17.

  72. 10. Wow were they hot! They just came from the sauna and they both
  73.     felt like lobsters. There was just one thing to do, and that was
  74.     fuck!

  76.     NOW GO TO 18.

  78. 11. Okay, said Albert. He slipped out of his crutches, catching himself on the
  79.     side of the girl's wheelchair. 
  80.  
  81.     NOW GO TO 18.

  83. 12. "Wow mister," exclaimed Albert, "that sure is a neat coat! Can I try it
  84.      on?" "Sure" said man, opening it up. Albert gasped. For underneath the
  85.      coat

  87.      NOW GO TO 18.

  89. 13.  "Just wait one moment," said the man. He was the girl's father. "You kids
  90.      are going to hurt yourselves." 
  91.  
  92.      NOW GO TO 18.
  93.  
  94. 14. "That's a very nice name," said the man. "And how old are you, Albert?"
  95.  
  96.      OK, I'VE HAD IT WITH THIS STORY.

  98. 15. "Well Albert," said the man, "I'll bet you didn't know that I have a son
  99.     just like you who has no arms."
  100.  
  101.     TRY TO GUESS WHAT HAPPENS.
  102.  
  103. 16. Suddenly, a gigantic police car turned the corner. Albert never felt
  104.     so happy to see a policeman!
  105.  
  106.     PHEW! WHAT A CLOSE CALL! WELL KIDS, HOPE YOU ENJOYED THAT STORY.

  108. 17. The man pulled out a knife. All of a sudden Albert's life started
  109.     flashing before his eyes.
