  38. WHERE & WHEN

  40.    The  Party 1994 will be held in Scandinavia's largest conference centre.
  41.    The  centre is of course placed in Herning in the middle of Denmark. The
  42.    Party  will  be  held from Tuesday 27 December at 10:00 CET to Friday 30
  43.    December at 10:00 CET.

  46. FACILITIES:
  47.  
  48.  - Room  for  at  least  3000  people,  including  tables  and  chairs  for
  49.    everybody.
  50.  
  51.  - A quiet, separate hal for sleeping.  But you are free to sleep where you
  52.    want to.
  53.  
  54.  - Enough  electricity  for  everyone,  with  a professional electrician 24
  55.    hours a day to avoid problems.
  56.  
  57.  - All info about what's going on (surprises, competitions, events, winners
  58.    etc.)  will  be published on a large bulletin board near The Information
  59.    and on the big screen.
  60.  
  61.  - 1000 x 800 cm high quality screen for competitions and other events.
  62.  
  63.  - Extremely powerful PA equipment to guarantee perfect sound quality.

  65.  - Two  cafeterias  will be open all day. At night only one of them will be
  66.    open. A kiosk or two will also be open most of the day. Fair prices.

  68.  - The  toilet and shower facilities are good.  This year we have more than
  69.    35 free hot showers.

  71.  - Prof. cleaning company to ensure that you will be able to walk around in
  72.    the hall.

  83.  - 8  main  competitions  with  great prizes and a lot of strange and crazy
  84.    surprise competitions.

  86.  - Laser  Matic;  tomorrows  laser technology in todays most exciting game.
  87.    Dark  caves  and extreme light effects. Thrilling sound effects and loud
  88.    background music. Beam up your buddy in the laser game you have to try.

  90.  - If  you  have made a music- og demovideo or another amazing thing, bring
  91.    it  with  you and we will gladly show it at the big screen. Just hand in
  92.    the production at The Information.

  124.  - All contributions must be delivered at The Information before deadline.

  126.  - If  you  want  to  take part in a competition you must be present at the
  127.    party.

  129.  - If  too  many  contributions are delivered for a competition a competent
  130.    jury will make a selection.

  132.  - We copy and spread all contributions.

  134.  - The contribution disks will not be returned.

  138.  - A  group  can contribute with as many demos as they want to but only one
  139.    from each coder.

  143.  - The demo must be able to run on a standard A1200 (2 MB chip).

  145. Gfx Competition:

  147.  - Each artist is allowed to contribute with one picture.

  149.  - The picture must be delivered in ILBM format. Max 736 x 566 x 8.

  155.  - We will play a max. of 5 min. per tune.

  207.  - Due  to  the  extra  facilities,  events,  competitions  and  prices the

  213.  - We  will  not  accept  anybody  selling  food,  disks etc.  without  our
  214.    permission.

  216.  - Alcohol  is  not  allowed  at the party place. If we find any it will be
  217.    confiscated.

  219.  - Intoxicated people will be thrown out or handed over to the police. This
  220.    goes for both alcohol as well as drugs.

  222.  - We  will  not  accept  any racist signs or acting, spraycans, weapons or
  223.    firework.

  274. TRAVEL INFO:

  276.  - If  you  are  going  by train or bus you will arrive at Herning Station.
  277.    From  here  a  nonstop party bus will be driving to the party place. The
  278.    ride takes 12 min. and costs app. 20 dkk. At the station there will be 2
  279.    organizers  to help you getting to the party place. If you go to Herning
  280.    by  car  you should follow the "Messecenter Herning" or "The Party 1994"
  281.    signs.
