  20. In  the  last days, we heard that Saturne haven't got any sponsor for their
  21. party  and  that  they  were  expecting  for  2.000 peoples to give so many
  22. prices!   Anyway,  at the moment SATURNE have no place to make their party,
  23. no  sponsor...   And  then  we got the confirmation by Tetsuo from SATURNE,
  24. that  SATURNE  PARTY  3  won't take place.  Infos about the cancellation of
  25. this party will be spread in some hours by SATURNE...  The reason is that a
  26. woman  was  responsable to get the place and some sponsors, and in fact she
  27. has never made anything, she has always lied.
  28.  
  29. We  are a bit worried that SATURNE haven't take care about this fact and by
  30. spreading so many infos about a big party only 2 weeks after us have caused
  31. some  troubles  for  us...   Many people were planning to go at The Saturne
  32. Party  3.   Anyway  now, you could all come at GASP!  We worked one year on
  33. it, and we won't cancel it!!!

  52. Saturne has the deep regret to inform you that the Saturne
  53. Party 3 is definitively cancelled.
  54.  
  55. One of our friends, in whom we were very confident, told us
  56. she had found a place (in the Parc des Expositions of Paris-
  57. Villepinte) with all facilities, thanks to a VIP she knew very
  58. well. She said there was a written contract between this man
  59. and those who are responsible of this Parc of Villepinte, and
  60. that our party would be part of a cultural project (self-payed
  61. place). As soon as we were advised that this contract existed
  62. we started all advertisements.
  63. Each member of Saturne was responsible for a definite task,
  64. so that we could supply all material needed for the party
  65. (giant screens, hifi equipment, bar, virtual reality...)
  66.  
  67. Then it was time to visit this hall in order to optimize the
  68. organisation. But our friend delayed more and more the date
  69. of this visit, and finally admitted that the contract never
  70. existed.
  71. A big disappointment and incomprehension from all of us...
  72. And we still don't understand her attitude.
  73.  
  74. To find a new room is absolutely impossible now, considering
  75. the time and means we have left.
  76.  
  77. It's the second time we fail so close to the aim, in spite of
  78. all the energy and efforts we already deployed, and we feel
  79. bitter. So we decided that the best thing we could do was to
  80. cancel the party, definitely.
  81.  
  82. We sincerely hope you will all understand and support us.

  155. This legal party will take place in Montpellier (South of France) from:
  156. Friday, 11th of August 1995 (18.00) to Tuesday, 15th of August 1995 (10.00).

  158. The  place  is  the Parc des Expositions of Montpellier.  The whole surface of
  159. the  center  is 40.000 m² consisting in a dozen of halls.  Parking can contain
  160. 2.800  cars.   The  party  place  is  situated  on the road to the most famous
  161. Mediterranean  beaches  (at some kilometers of Palavas-les-Flots and La Grande
  162. Motte), in front of the international airport (2kms), near the motorway (4kms)
  163. and the train station (10kms).  All connected by urban bus.
  164.  
  165.                  The entrance fee will be about 195FF (40$),
  166.         which will give you access to the party place for four days !
  167.        (Anyway if you pay before 20th of July 1995, price is 150FF...)

  181. installed.  A whole hall will be reserved as a sleeping room...

  236. Amiga demo:   - Must run on a A1200 standard (OS3.0, 2Mo of ChipRam, 68020)
  237.                 It doesn't have to need Fastmem. Of course demos can also
  238.                 work on A500, but it isn't necessary... 1 demo per coder,
  239.                 anyway a group can compete with as many demos as they want.
  240.                 Time limit: 20mn!
  241. Amiga intro:  - Same rules as demos, i.e must run on A1200 standard, 1 intro
  242.                 per coder. Lenght limit: 40kb (40960 bytes!). No need of
  243.                 library to work.
  244. Amiga gfx:    - 1 picture per graphist. Must be shown with the lastest
  245.                 version of Deluxe Paint. Format have to be IFF. Scan and
  246.                 raytraced pictures will be excluded!
  247. Amiga music:  - 1 module per musician. Duration: 6mn maximum!
