  50. We of GREat Effects Development have been informed that some bozo have put
  51. a lot of effort in cutting our great CD-ONLY game Kang Fu into 30+ DD disks
  52. and spread it around pirate bbsses.

  56. MAYBE WE ARE BOZOS BUT THEN AGAIN YOU ARE BOZOS FOR CREATING SUCH A 
  57. CRAP GAME. AND WE RELEASED IT IN 30 LHA FILES TOTALLING 41 MEG UNPACKED.
  58. BTW BOZO WHAT ABOUT PEOPLE WITHOUT CD ROM DRIVES, NOW THEY CAN PLAY IT
  59. OFF HARD DISK. I THINK THATS A WORTHWHILE REASON TO RELEASING IT.

  65. First of all, we like to say that we are glad WE didn't have to do it. :)
  66. Why someone wants to cut and downgrade such a big CD game to disk is a mystery..

  69. WE DIDN'T DOWNGRADE IT, WE JUST TOOK OUT THE DUPLICATED FILES FOR OTHER CD
  70. MACHINES WHICH WERN'T NEEDED.

  76. The FULL game is ± 170 MB filled with levels, anims, pictures, sounds and more!
  77. Also there is ± 45 minutes of CD audio on the CD.

  84. Yes, Kang Fu is not like you are used to a disk game copied to CD. This is
  85. one of the biggest, perhaps the BIGGEST AMIGA game EVER!

  91. downgraded pirate version ? Nothing, really.

  98. most of you do!) is almost 20 HFL/DM at 28k8 !

  102. This is just ridicoulous, supporting phonecompanies like the PTT who are making
  103. BILLIONS a year, while Amiga developers, distributors and shops are going
  104. out of business or are going PC due to the fact that some people rather pay
  105. for illegal software to their phonecompany than support a number of companies
  106. behind an Amiga distributor/shop who are still trying to support YOUR Amiga !

  109. HERE IN UK NOBODY CARES ABOUT THE AMIGA ANYMORE. GAMES LIKE KANG FU HELP TO
  110. DESTROY THE AMIGA. I'M SORRY BUT AS A LOT OF PEOPLE AGREE, DOWNLOADING A
  111. PIRATE VERSION LEADS TO PEOPLE BUYING THE ORIGINAL IF THEY LIKE IT.

  119. company to download it. Still you are getting MORE for your 50,-.
  120. You are making the first move to get the Amiga back on track trough shops,
  121. developers and distributors. Kang Fu is great value for money!

  130. Kang Fu demo from our website WWW.GREED.NL at local tariff (as most of you do!)
  131. for ±25 cents, it's 'only' 6MB. If it is not your type of game, we have saved
  132. you around 20,- !! ;-)

  137. Amiga magazine, they made Kang Fu game of the month! Or check Amiga Magzin 11/96,
  138. where Kang Fu is also Game of the month, and Amiga Computing #12/96 where it is
  139. voted 'one of the best games of '96'.

  141. OR HOW ABOUT AMIGA FORMATS 20% REVIEW OF IT LAST YEAR SAYING THEY WOULD

  143. CRAP AND ALSO MOST OTHER MAGS.

  145. Nobody has to tell you that Amiga developers, distributors and shops are having
  146. a difficult time right now, increasingly difficult. The moment is coming very
  147. soon, if you like it or not, if you agree with it or not, that even Amiga
  148. hardware and accesoires are as hard to get as Specrum or C=64 stuff is right now.
  149. We know that some people, and some magazines are determined to paint a very
  150. different, positive picture of the Amiga and it's environment. It is not like
  151. that at all. Get up and take a new magazine, take one from a year ago and another
  152. one from 4 years ago. Now take a look at the variety of hardware, software and
  153. advertisements concerning the Amiga through the years. What is your conclusion?
  154. Right the Amiga has plumbed down in a dramatic way! Probably many of your older
  155. Amiga Magazines don't even exist anymore!
