- This LHARC archive includes source and executable for OptMouse, a program
- which allows you to use a Mouse Systems M3 serial mouse on the Amiga.
- Also included are instructions which allow a serial mouse to be modified to
- plug directly into the Amiga mouse port.
-
- Since the hardware modification is definitely the way to go, the OptMouse
- program will probably be of limited use. However, it does serve as an
- example of how to "fake" mouse movements and may be of use in writing
- drivers for digitizers, light pens, and the like.
-
- Note: I don't claim that this is the RIGHT way to fake mouse action, only
- that it seemed to work for me. Your mileage may vary.
-
- New for Version 1.2:
- - Updates position twice as often as before (now up to 48 times per second)
- - Built-in mouse accellerator
