  1. This LHARC archive includes source and executable for OptMouse, a program
  2. which allows you to use a Mouse Systems M3 serial mouse on the Amiga.
  3. Also included are instructions which allow a serial mouse to be modified to
  4. plug directly into the Amiga mouse port.

  6. Since the hardware modification is definitely the way to go, the OptMouse
  7. program will probably be of limited use.  However, it does serve as an
  8. example of how to "fake" mouse movements and may be of use in writing
  9. drivers for digitizers, light pens, and the like.

  11. Note: I don't claim that this is the RIGHT way to fake mouse action, only
  12. that it seemed to work for me. Your mileage may vary.
