  1. We are currently releasing Amiga Report using Commodore's 
  2. AmigaGuide format. Those of you reading this with an ASCII 
  3. text reader unfortunately can see some of these codes. We 
  4. have done as much to make sure that this is kept to a minimum, 
  5. and have placed the majority of the code at the bottom of Amiga 
  6. Report. If for some reason you do not have AmigaGuide to read 
  7. this periodical from, I would hope that you could get it from one 
  8. of your local BBSes, a commercial online service or your local 
  9. users group. If for some reason you still cannot find it, I have 
  10. it available on my BBS (the number is posted here in Amiga 
  11. Report). First time callers are quite welcome and have access to 
  12. download, or the file may be File REQuested (ask your Sysop about 
  13. this) from FidoNet 1:3407/104 under the name of "AGUIDE34.LHA".

  15. For those of you who are reading this using AmigaGuide, and are 
  16. unfamiliar with it's operation select the button "HELP" from the 
  17. top of the screen and a explanation of all the buttons on top 
  18. will be provided. A quick note though, "BROWSE>" will send you on 
  19. to the next article, "CONTENTS" will take you back to the main 
  20. menu. "RETRACE" will send you back one step.

  22. Amiga Report is currently set up to be used with OS3.0's MULTIVIEW.
  23. If you are using OS1.3 or 2.x you need to change the default tool
  24. on the Amiga Report icon to "SYS:UTILITIES/AMIGAGUIDE", or to where-
  25. ever else you are currently keeping AMIGAGUIDE (Or create a "Hardlink"
  26. as described in Amiga Report issue #1.15).

  28. As of September 3rd, 1993, we are using a picture viewer called "AR_Viewer" 
  29. which was included with Amiga Report 1.23. This is the viewer we use
  30. within Amiga Report's AmigaGuide format. If it isn't located within the
  31. archive, you may find it on many BBSes, commercial services, etc., under
  32. the name of ARVIEWER.LHA. Special thanks to John Enright for producing this
  33. viewer and letting the staff of Amiga Report use it. See the AR_viewer.doc
