  409.           The voiceover that Marshall uses to give an introduction  of  the
  410.           show  varies through the run of the series. For the first episode
  411.           the introduction set up how Marshall came to Eerie and  a  little
  412.           of  what he found there. For the second episode it gave some more
  413.           on what Marshall found in Eerie. This was shortened somewhat  for
  414.           the following episodes that used it. The show introductions are:
  415.  
  416.           1.  "To whom it may concern. If you're reading this document,  it
  417.                means  I'm  either  dead  -  or disappeared under mysterious
  418.                circumstances.  My name is Marshall Teller. Not long  ago  I
  419.                was living in New Jersey just across the river from New York
  420.                City. It was crowded, polluted, and full of crime.  I  loved
  421.                it. But my parents wanted a better life for my sister and me
  422.                - so we moved to a place so wholesome, so squeaky clean, you
  423.                could  only  find it on TV.  Unfortunately, nothing could be
  424.                further from the truth.  Sure,  my  new  home  town  *looks*
  425.                normal  enough,  but  look  again.   What's  wrong with this
  426.                picture? The American dream come true, right?  Wrong. Nobody
  427.                believes  me,  but  this  is the center of weirdness for the
  428.                entire planet. Eerie, Indiana. My home  sweet  home.   Still
  429.                don't believe me? You will."

  431.           2.  "Eerie, Indiana. Day 45. I knew my home town was going to  be
  432.                different  from  where  I grew up in New Jersey, but this is
  433.                ridiculous. Nobody believes me, but Eerie is the  center  of
  434.                weirdness  for  the  entire  planet.  Item, a guy that looks
  435.                suspiciously like Elvis lives  on  my  paper  route.   Item,
  436.                Bigfoot  eats  out  of  my trash.  Item, a bizarre housewife
  437.                cult in town has been sealing up their kids in giant  rubber
  438.                kitchenware  so they don't age. And now, just when I thought
  439.                things couldn't get any worse, I discovered that  in  Eerie,
  440.                even  man's best friend is up to no good. When I try to tell
  441.                this to my family, they just think I'm weird.  Better  weird
  442.                than dead."

  444.           3.  "My name is Marshall Teller. I knew  my  new  home  town  was
  445.                going to be different from where I grew up in New Jersey but
  446.                this is ridiculous.  Nobody believes me, but Eerie,  Indiana

  471.           credits  which  is  indicated  with a "S".  A dash "-" is used to
  472.           indicate when no introduction or setup was given before the title
  473.           sequence.

  501.                around. He's the only friend I've made  since  moving  here.

  506.               "The World O' Stuff is run by  a  weird  guy  named  Radford.
  507.                Every time I saw him he was in a different disguise. I can't
  508.                prove it,  but  I  think  he's  in  the  witness  protection

  513.               "The weirdest thing happened down at The World O'  Stuff.  It
  514.                turns  out  the reason Radford acted so weird was because he

  517.                the basement the whole time."

  1857.           Cow  drink  Marshall  and  Simon  ordered.  One from the Complete
  1858.           World Bartender's Guide says to pour 8 oz.  sarsaparilla  into  a
  1859.           tall  glass.  Add  2  oz.  vanilla ice cream and stir until well-
  1860.           blended.  Sarsaparilla is a soft drink flavored  with  the  dried
  1861.           roots  of  a tropical American plant (smilax).  Some folks in the

  1863.           root  beer with vanilla ice cream. Others said it is a drink made
