  35. At  the  bottom of the screen there are two rows of icons these icons are
  36. as follows.

  63. What the options are and what they do.

  65. 1  Previous Page
  66. Showes the previous page if avaiable.
  67.  
  68. 2  Next Page
  69. Showes the next page if avaiable.

  71. 3 Goto Page
  72. When  selected a window will open asking for a page number to be entered.
  73. Enter  the number of the page you wish to go to and press return.  If the
  74. page is avaiable it will then be displayed.

  76. 4 Previous Article
  77. Loads and displays the previous article if avaiable.
  78.  
  79. 5 Next Article
  80. Loads and displays the next article if avaiable.
  81.  
  82. 6 Goto Article
  83. When  selected  a  window  will  open  asking  for a article number to be
  84. entered.Enter  the  number  of  the  article  you wish to go to and press
  85. return.  If the article is avaiable it will then be displayed.

  87. 7  Search
  88. When  selected  a  window  will  open  asking  for  a search string to be
  89. entered.   Type  a  word  you  wish  to search for and press return.  The
  90. program will then search the current article for your entered word.  When
  91. found  the  page with the word in will be displayed and the the word will
  92. be highlighted.  The search will then wait for a keypress to continue the
  93. search or you can press ESC to abort.
  94. IMPORTANT NOTE: The search is case sensitive
  95.  
  96. 8  Help
  97. This  will  bring  up  this help file.  Once loaded you can exit the help
  98. file  by selecting the Help option again.  This will then return you back
  99. to  the  article  and page you were on before you selected help.  You can
  100. also exit by using the goto article or contents etc.

  102. 9  Contents
  103. This options loads and displays the contents page.  The contents displays
  104. the articles in the current issue of Miggybyte.
  105. Example:-

  109. The number in the box is the article number.  The writing after it is the
  110. title  of  the  article and the tag/name at the end of the line shows who
  111. wrote it.
  112. To  view  an  article move the mouse pointer over the line it is on.  The
  113. line  should  then become highlighted.  Then click a mouse button to load
  114. and  view that article.  Another way is to select the Goto Article option
  115. and  enter  the  number corresponding to that article, which will then be
  116. loaded and displayed.

  118. 10 Music
  119. This option toggles between sound FX and a music mod(s).
  120.  
  121. 11 Glossary
  122. This  option  will  load  up  and display a Glossary of terms used in the
  123. computer world.
  124. WARNING:  This file is huge so it may take some time to load and unpack.

  126. 12 Fig
  127. If  when  reading  an  article  you come accross [PRESS FIG BUTTTON] then
  128. select  the  fig option.  Once activated the screen will be cleared and a
  129. FIG/Picture  will  then be displayed.  If this option is activated at any
  130. other time it will be ignored.

  132. 13 BookMark
  133. When you select to save a bookmark the program will note what article and
  134. page  number  you  are  on  and save this out as a data file to the disk.
  135. Please  make  sure  the  disk  is  write  enabled if you wish to use this
  136. option.

  138. When  you select to load a bookmark the program will look on the disk for
  139. the bookmark file.  If found it will load it in and then load and display
  140. the article at the correct page that the bookmark points to.
  141.  
  142. 14 Colours
  143. Simple,  select  the  text  colour  option  to change the text colour and
  144. select the background colour option to change the background colour.

  147. 15 Print
  148. When selected this will dump the full article to your printer.
  149.  
  150. 16 Exit
  151. When  selected  the  Mag  will  be closed and you will be returned to the
  152. operating system
  153.

  155. Press  the Help key or click the help button to return to the article and
  156. page you were previously on.
