  5. DC_INIT is a Cli util that reads your user.data and makes a file called
  6. "dc_date.year" For Example DC_DEC94.
  7. This file contains all infos that we at dream Chart need to make our chart.
  8. That means the traders ul/dl Stats, your Cpu type & Ram.
  9.

  11. If You run the program from Shell, you will get some parameters that are
  12. quite self-explanatory. All you have to do is to edit your logoffscript
  13. and insert the programparameters.

  16. Just put DC_INIT into any <path> you like and off you go. An example of
  17. how a syntax might look:

  20. <Path>:DC_INIT X BBS:request/ul BBS:User.data NERO "PROPHETS HOLD" N

  23. Remember the quotes ("xxx xxx") if you have a handle or board name that
  24. consists of 2 words, or else the program will not work.
  25. In additon, the program ONLY works the 1'st every month. If you want to
  26. test it, set the DATE to 01-xxx-94, and then run it. But remember to
  27. shutdown the bbs, or else your weektop and similar programs will go
  28. weird.

  30. For those that Did install our old door, you MUST delete all old files:

  33. DC_COLLECT in doors:
  34. DC.INFO in BBScmd:
  35. The RESIDENT command in your USER-STARTUP.

  37. Try to create the new file in a path to a directory connected to a
  38. conference on your bbs. So that I can Join For Example Requests and
  39. "D dc_xxx94".

  41. I don't think any additional Docs will be needed, since the program is
  42. very simple to both install and run. Please do install it, and that goes
  43. for all the boards that have installed the First door also. Doesn't
  44. matter if it works or not, you will have to install the new one, DC_INIT.
