  4.   As long as you're here, I might just aswel use this little file for some
  5.   other useless info.

  7. - This version (1.41) was released about 7 hours after 1.4. The reason for
  8.   this is that I didn't know how to fix the second Prom1 bug at the time of
  9.   release. A few hours after Radavi had sent all his packages I came up with
  10.   the solution, so there, now you know.
  11.  
  12. - If you rip a module by hand (ie. not with exotic/multi or any other
  13.   musicripper), you usualy save more data with the module than necesary.
  14.   When you then load this data in perverter, the calculated size of the
  15.   module will ofcourse be smaller than that of the file.
  16.  
  17. - The REAL size of raw P4XX modules might sometimes differ from the one
  18.   that perverter calculated. This is caused by the fact that P4XX modules
  19.   sometimes have some extra sampinfo. What's it for? I haven't got a clue.
  20.   Sometimes it's there, and sometimes it isn't.

  22. - If you by any chance decide to send me any new module formats, *PLEASE*,
  23.   and I repeat, *PLEASE*, send me the (DMS'ed) program it came from so I
  24.   can take a gander at the replayer and thus avoid any potential bugs. To
  25.   avoid any trouble with FART/BumaStemra/BundesSoftwareSchutz or whatever:
  26.   If the program is commercial then just send me the module and the name
  27.   of program it came from. If you have enough technical knowledge you may
  28.   try and rip the replayer yourself and send that piece of code instead of
  29.   the entire program. The reasons that Perverter contained as many bugs
  30.   as it did are:

  32. -1- I didn't have the replayer to find out how a format was built; I had
  33.     to discover that by closely examining the module.
  34. -2- I only had one or two module to test the converter with.
  35. -3- Pure stupidity. (Well, how's that for modesty eh?)
