  7. »CL0: Today I wanted to have a look at some
  8. new demos, so I decided to download
  9. »CL9:Hardcore»CL0: by »CL9:Syndrome»CL0:. It won the
  10. democompo at »CL9:Saturne Party»CL0:, so I
  11. thought it would be good. I was
  12. gravely disappointed! The demo was
  13. pure shit from the start to the end,
  14. and I deleted it immediately after
  15. seeing it. Why? I'll tell you why!

  17.  The theme of the demo is »CL6:death»CL0: and/or
  18. »CL6:satanism»CL0:. Starting with a clip from a
  19. »CL6:snuff-movie»CL0: (porno where people are
  20. killed - for »CL5:real!»CL0:) and moving on with
  21. some nice slogans like '»CL6:Die!»CL0:' '»CL6:The art
  22. of selfdestruction»CL0:' the viewer gets a
  23. pretty good impression of what the
  24. creators of the demo are trying to
  25. say. The graphics is a mix of drawn
  26. pictures of satanic symbols and devils
  27. and some videoclips of people killing
  28. themselves or others. The music is
  29. some huge samples mixed together to a
  30. hateful tune. All in all a really
  31. unpleasant experience!

  33.  Now I just ask: How on earth could
  34. this crap win the »CL9:Saturne Party»CL0:? Is it
  35. cool amonst those freaks who voted for
  36. it to encourage to kill? Is »CL9:Satan»CL0: a
  37. hot new name in the scene? Is this
  38. kind of 'style' something you want to
  39. see at future parties? Well, I
  40. certainly don't! The scene has some
  41. unwritten rules about ethics in demos
  42. and I think »CL9:Syndrome»CL0: has broken most
  43. of them and even worse - they won the
  44. democompo!?! People actually voted for
  45. them! I really can't understand that.
  46. »CL9:Syndrome»CL0: has a moral responsibility
  47. for the productions they release. A
  48. responsibility they clearly haven't
  49. understood, unless ofcourse they are
  50. fans of killers, suicideattempts and
  51. snuff or maybe they are just plain
  52. satanists and want to get more people
  53. to hate each other. In that case, the
  54. demo suits they purpose. It's not
  55. cool, it's not hot and it certainly
  56. isn't worthy of the label 'demo'. It's
  57. pure shit!

  59.  I thought real hard and long about
  60. whether or not to publish this
  61. article, because maybe it will make
  62. more people watch the demo and that is
  63. NOT what I want. I decided to do write
  64. it anyway, since I think the subject
  65. requires a debate. Am I the only one?

  69. all kinds of abnormal behaviour like
  70. this. If anybody thinks he/she'll feel
  71. bad about watching this... IT'S YOUR

  75. demo I can only say: Don't dignify
  76. »CL9:Syndrome»CL0:'s trash by watching it!
