  9. c01It is August 1991  and the fifth issue
  10. of c02I.c.e.c01, the leading mag produced by
  11. c02Cytaxc01,  get released.  Among its pages
  12. you  can  find  some  amusing articles
  13. such   as   'Crackers  are  lame'  and
  14. 'Crackers  are  not  lame',  just  two
  15. chapters  of  an  eternal diatribe, or
  16. other  deep  and  fashionable articles
  17. such as 'Nazi software in the Scene'.
  18. The   article   that   can   make   us
  19. reflecting,  however,  is  surely 'The
  20. good  old  times',  written  by  a guy
  21. called c02Eddy/Coastc01, in which the author
  22. complains  about  the  past  almost as
  23. most  of  the  Scene  likes  to  do it
  24. today.
  25. Some  sentences taken from his article
  26. f4<<do  you  remember  your  first game?
  27. Was  it  Goldrunner, Chessmaster 2000?
  28. And  when you did not know the meaning
  29. of the word SEKA?>>.  f1Nostalgic.

  31. Then  we  have some thoughts about the
  32. Friendship  Movement with a meaningful
  33. 'Why wars' edited by c02Lizard of Energyc01,
  34. which  can  compete,  for its high and
  35. deep  contents with 'Different lamers'
  36. by  c02Cyber  Piratec01,  one  of  the  most
  37. productive  writers of thos times, and
  38. 'Lamer  Tips' by a guy named c02Lyzanxiac01,
  39. belonging  to  c02TSL  c01(maybe...).  Among
  40. the  others,  some  of  these tips are
  41. very  interesting  and clever:  f4<<when
  42. they  (he  probably  means the lamers)
  43. ask  you  who  you are pretend to be a
  44. more  famous  freak>>  f1or  f4<<tell them
  45. (should  be  the  lamers, also in this
  46. case)  to  call your board and instead
  47. of bbs' number give them the number of
  48. your  worst enemy>>.  f1No comment.
  49. But the pearl is surely the article by
  50. c02Black Dragon c01of the group c02Catastrophyc01,
  51. 'A  lamer  sex-story', with a gorgeous
  52. final  comment  to  draw a fondamental
  53. and unforgettable moral teaching f4<<the
  54. real  story behind this piece of crap,
  55. is  that  if you're a lamer you stay a
  56. lamer.  Some lamers buy hot modems and
  57. think  they're  so-called  'cool'  but
  58. they aint coze when they die, they die
  59. like  a  lamer  and  not like a 'cool'
  60. dude...    Yo  this  was  I  am  outta
  61. here>>.   f1Clear and concise, what more
  62. could we pretend?

  67. Assembly'95  is hold and shows to have
  68. become  the biggest and best organized
  69. party,  beating,  after a top position
  70. lasted  around  four  years, The Party
  71. series.    Zif   by  c02Parallaxc01,  ranked
  72. first,  is  considered  among the best
  73. ever   released  but  it's  the  c02Pygmy
  74. Projects'   c01creature   that   will  be
  75. remembered  as  the symbol of the 95's
  76. edition  of Assembly.  Relevant enough
  77. to  be  noticed,  is  Fruitkitchen  by
  78. c02Silents  c01and  the two intros by c02Sonikc01.
  79. f4'Compared  to The Party IV Assembly is
  80. definitely  less  Scene-party and more
  81. game-geek-gathering'.   f1Never  such  a
  82. sentence  (c02Diesel8  c01owns the rights on
  83. it) has been closer to a prophecy.

  85. After  almost two years of  being dead
  86. c02Lemon c01reborns.  The new members, which
  87. are  the  two  Englishmen c02Spaceman c01and
  88. c02Dan  c01together with the Dutch guys c02Del,
  89. Facet,  Blazer,  Supernao  c01and  c02Astro,
  90. underline   immediately   they  aren't
  91. going  to  release  much  in  the next
  92. incoming  months.  (This is one of the
  93. few  Scenish  promises  that have been
  94. kept, indeed!)
