  18. name?  Ivan.  A big Russian beserk.  A
  19. bear,  slaughtering  each and everyone
  20. being  in  his way.  A beast of a man,
  21. swallowing litres of vodka without any
  22. sign of alcoholic effect.  Nostrowje!

  37. above.  In fact, the Italian editor is
  38. a  rather  small  guy of a slender but
  39. noble   constitution.    Although  c03The
  40. Ripper  c02-  such  his  handle  -  is  a
  41. literally  known and respected Scener,
  42. it   does   not   show  disrespect  to
  43. announce  him  the  rising new star of
  44. the  Diskmag  Scene.   The Ripper is a
  45. rather   'young'  Scener  for  gaining
  46. first  Scene  experiences just in 1991
  47. as  modem-trader  in  a  group  called
  48. c03Thyrone  Italy  c02and  by delivering his
  49. first fistful of articles to c03I.C.E.  c02-
  50. with two of them published.  The agile
  51. Ivan  changes groups and Diskmags like
  52. Mop   dictionaries:    c03Thyrone  Italy,
  53. Nightfall, Polaris, Banana Dezign, Ram
  54. Jam   c02and   lately  c03Artwork.   I.c.e.,
  55. Freedom  Crack,  Abnormalia, D.i.s.c.,
  56. Propaganda,   Hardcore,   R.o.m.,  The
  57. Charts   c02and   some  others,  even  he
  58. himself does not remember.

  65. at times are limited by the incomplete
  66. knowledge  of  the  language.'

  72. which  basically  has  found  entrance
  73. into  the  circle of editors.  Neither
  74. has   one  read  any  harsh  words  in
  75. private    situations    nor    hatred
  76. slag-offs.   Still,  this  surely does
  77. not  mean,  our  friend is a flatterer
  78. like  some  other  editors.   No, with
  79. noble  gentleness, The Ripper uses his
  80. wide  formal  vocabulary and exquisite
  81. sarcasm  to  lay his fingers into open
  82. wounds.   His  quite way of journalism
  83. and   his   subtile  sense  of  humour
  84. possibly   also   prevented  him  from
  85. higher  chart-spheres  up  to now,  as
  86. the   Scene   reacts   much   more  on
  87. aggressive  shouters  like c03Fishwave c02or
  88. scientific cynics like c03Macnoc02.
  89. Lately, The Ripper has gained a lot of
  90. impact   on   c03ROM  c02together  with  his
  91. brother  in soul c03Posdunousc02.  This also
  92. can be read from recent chartrankings.
  93. The  Ripper  is  climbing  the ladder.
  94. Just  a  matter of time until reaching
  95. uptone tempo.

  99. has journalistic talent and that would
  100. be  enough,  but  above  all  he has a
  101. quality  that  few  other main-editors
  102. around  can  have:   he's  a  Juventus

  109. constitution    and   laws   plus   in
  110. Romanprocess  at  an average of 26 out

  112. him  cheekingly  -  seems  to have his
  113. mind  free  for  new  endeavours,  new
  114. efforts.   In case his chronic poverty
  115. does   not   force  him  to  sell  his
  116. equipment  before.   Funny  enough, he
  117. still  manages  to  visit  many of the
  118. bigger parties like The Party V or The
  119. Symposium'96.   Legendary his struggle
  120. for  survival  after the Party V, when
  121. he had to collect empty bottles at the
  122. end  of  the  event  to  at  least get
  123. himself  some  food and a bed to sleep
  124. for  a night.  His comment:  f4'Italians
  125. are  poor  compared  to  Germans,  but
  126. compared  to  Danish we're nothing but
  127. beggars!' f1Still, this all did not help
  128. him  to  get back home in time for the
  129. new  years  eve.   He had to spend the
