- CLICK-RUN V1.0
-
- © 1992 BY ANDRE J. VOGET

- FREEWARE
-
- With the help of "ClickRun", you can start at last fifty programs easily
- by a simple mouseclick. Just such another utility? Well, ClickRun has a
- built-in editor, so you can change the configuration whenever you want
- to. There is also an "online-help" which explains you the most important
- keyboard-and mousecommands. Press right mousebutton to iconify. You can
- use ClickRun comfortably by keyboard or mouse.
-
- ClickRun is Freeware. You can freely copy this piece of software onto
- your disks, but if you want to distribute ClickRun on PD-series, you
- have to ask for permission else this program is a pirat copy on that
- PD-disk.
-
- After starting the program, ClickRun is looking for "S:ClickRun.cfg". If
- this file isn´t found, you will get an error-message. You also get this
- error-message when you start ClickRun the first time.
-
- The mainmenu contains ten gadgets. Each of these gadgets includes the
- filename. When you click on one of these gadgets, the corresponding pro
- gram is going to start. You can exactly achieve this goal when you press
- the keys <0> to <9>. Only ten programs? Nope, the other ones will be
- shown when you click the [MORE]-gadget or the cursorkeys or <m>.
-
- When you press the right mousebutton or click on the gadget [ICON], the
- mainmenu-window will be closed and a little window will be opened on
- your workbench. After starting programs, ClickRun always iconify. To get
- the mainmenu again, just activate the little window and press the right
- mousebutton. Of course you can move the iconify-window and the new po
- sition of the window will be saved (also in the configurationfile).
-
- You get online-help by pressing <Help>, <h> or by clicking the [HELP]-
- gadget. When you close the help-window, the mainmenu-window will be
- opened.
-
- You can save the current configurationfile ("S:ClickRun.cfg") by pres
- sing the key <s> or clicking on the corresponding gadget [SAVE]. The
- position of the iconify-window and the current page will also save.
-
- Now, let´s editing! To change an entry, press <Shift> and at the same
- time one of these keys: <0> to <9>. The mainmenu-window will be closed
- and the edit-window will be opened. There you will find two stringgad
- gets in which you can type in filename and pathname. To start a program
- independently of ClickRun, just type "run" in front of the pathname. By
- the way: the cli-command "run" must ALWAYS be in the "c:"-directory when
- you want to run ClickRun.
- Above the first stringgadget there is a number from <00> to <49> which
- stands for the current edit-number. With the help of the cursorkeys or
- by mouseclicking, you can activate each stringgadget.
-
- When you start a program (click and run :-) a small output-window will
- be opened. Every output of the program will be assigned to this window.
- When you start a program by the cli-command "run", you must be sure that
- the program won´t make outputs in a cli-window, when you have started
- ClickRun from workbench.
-
- ClickRun is Free-and POSTWARE! If you like and use ClickRun, please send
- me a postcard of your home town or from your holiday. Thanx a lot!
