- Introduction:
- ════════════
-
- Invisible Maze was originally written using Quick basic v4.5 then
- converted to Visual Basic. Invisible Maze is a relatively simple,
- but sometimes challenging game. Simply put, you walk through a maze.
-
- What's the catch? You can not see any of the walls UNTIL you bump
- into them. Sound simple, doesn't it? The maze can have any size
- from a 5x5 maze all the way up to a 30x25 maze.
-
- There is ALWAYS a route through the maze.
-
-
-
-
- Files included in the .ZIP file:
- ═══════════════════════════════
-
- INVMAZE.TXT - This intro file.
- INVMAZE.EXE - The WINDOWS executable file.
- INVMAZE.HLP - Help file for Invisible Maze.
- FILE_ID.DIZ - PC Boards description file.
- DESC.DEZ - Non-PC Board description file.
- VBPICBTN.VBX - Custom control for the program.
-
-
- This .ZIP file has been generated using AUTHENTICITY VERIFICATION.
- If any of the files maintained within, do not carry the -AV signature,
- please inform me where the file was obtained from. If there are any
- additional files in the .ZIP file, please contact the SysOp where the
- file was obtained, and request they remove the additional files.
-
-
-
-
- Additional files:
- ════════════════
-
- INVMAZE.INI - Created when a "SAVE" is performed and read by
- "RESTORE".
- INVMAZE.SCR - Created to store HIGH SCORE TABLE.
-
-
-
-
- FILES NEEDED:
- ════════════
-
- VBRUN100.DLL - This is the Visual Basic Run Time routines.
-
-
- What is Shareware?
- ═════════════════
-
- The shareware concept is great for both programmer and the end-user.
- The programmers can distribute their product without getting involved
- in expensive marketing or advertising. The end-user benefits by
- receiving a full-featured program, usually better than the commercial
- competition, and support available directly from the author. But it
- only works if the end-user participates in supporting the shareware
- concept.
-
- Shareware is not free. After using INVISIBLE MAZE for the suggested
- 30 day trial period, you must pay for continued use of the program.
- We have spent a long time and worked hard to produce this fine
- program. We also feel that the $10.00 registration fee is very fair.
-
-
-
-
- Registering Information:
- ═══════════════════════
-
- The current version will always be available on The Wizard's World.
-
- To register the game, simply select REGISTER from the INTRO screen.
- Fill out the form, print it and mail with US FUNDS to the address on
- the form.
-
- Registration entitles you to ALL future updates to the program.
-
- All registrations will give you CONTRIBUTING USER status on
- The Wizard's World for the period of 1 year.
-

- Disclaimer:
- ══════════
-
- Invisible Maze and all accompanying files are provided on an "AS-IS"
- basis with no warranty, either stated or implied. R & R Enterprise
- cannot accept responsibility for loss of data, profit, and/or any
- damages which are incurred from the use of this program or any of the
- accompanying files.
-
-
- Setup:
- ═════
-
- Setup for Invisible Maze is real simple. Simply place the .HLP, .VBX
- and the .EXE files in the same directory.
-
- 1.) Start WINDOWS.
- 2.) Add a new FILE/Program to any of your existing program groups.
- For file name, you may either BROWSE, or enter the full path to
- INVMAZE.EXE.
- 3.) Select OK.
- 4.) Then enjoy the game.
-
-
-
- Controls:
- ════════
-
- Controls are mainly ONLY on the play screen. This is where you will
- see the 'maze walker'. All controls will be covered briefly. We
- have included a full help system with the game to assist you. From
- ANY screen, you can hit the {F1} key to access the HELP SYSTEM. It
- will bring up specific information about the field/button that has
- control in the form. You can tell where control is by either an 'I'
- cursor in an input field or a dotted ring (usually red) on a button.
-
-
-
- Common Controls:
- ═══════════════
-
- OK Button This is the YES button. Also the same as accepting
- the input.
-
- Cancel Button This is the NO button. Same as DON'T DO IT.
-
-
-
- Specific Controls:
- ═════════════════
-
- Reseizing Scroll Bars These are used on the RESEIZING screen to set
- the size of the maze.
-
- Up, Down, These are movement controls. They will move
- Right and Left HANDS the maze walker (or at least attempt to move
- him) in the direction the finger is pointing.
- You can alternatively use the ARROW keys.
-
- Button with '?' This is a HINT button. It will show the maze
- for a short time. At that point the game will
- continue as before the key was pushed.
-
- Button with BLUE path This is the GIVE UP key. This will show the
- and maze maze and not allow you to move any more.
-
- Button with maze This is the RESTART button.
-
- Exit button This will end the program completely.
-
-
-
-
- CUDOS:
- ═════
-
- The only real cudo is with the cursor arrows. This item will be
- addressed in future releases. The problem is that the only arrows
- that will work are those on the numeric pad and ONLY if the NUM LOCK
- is ON.
