  5. Much better file saving.  This version allows you to save as many games
  6. as you want.  Whenever, you save a game, DO NOT load it right after 
  7. saving it!  To load a game you saved, you must quit first, and then 
  8. restart and load it.To see how to save and  open a game, look at the 
  9. last paragraph of this document.

  12. This program is ShareAware.  This means that after the 30 day playing 
  13. period, you must pay the registration fee.  The registration fee is 10 
  14. dollars.  When you register FisHatchery, you recieve the following:

  38. Readme.txt - The file you are reading right now
  39. Order.txt - Ordering form
  40. File_id.diz - Game description
  41. Commdlg.dll - File needed to save and load games, and to run game
  42. Cmdialog.vbx - File needed to save and load games, and to run game
  43. For more insured use, you may want to put Commdlg.dll and Cmdialog.vbx
  44. in your \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.
  45. To run FisHatchery VBRUN300.DLL must be in your \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.

  48. Description:
  49. FisHatchery is the new game, brought to you by JonCo.  In this game, you 
  50. are yourself, the head of a fish hatchery.  The object of the game is
  51. to make more then 1,000,000 dollars.  To achieve this, you must buy and sell
  52. fish, hire workers, and basically run the company. FisHatchery is a fun game, 
  53. with fun graphics and easy controls.  Have fun!

  56. How to play:
  57. Playing FisHatchery is very easy.  To buy or sell fish, and to control your 
  58. expenses, click on the building in the lower right corner; the office.  From
  59. here you can control your: 
  60.  
  61. Expenses: How much money you spend on fish.  What year it is(disabled in 
  62. shareaware version).  Also from here you can control wages, and how much 
  63. money you spend a year.
  64.  
  65. Sell fish: Click on this to see who your major buyers are, and what prices
  66. see who your sellers are, and buy fish from them.  Try bidding a little by
  67. pressing the "Bid" button.  Remmember, you are only allowed to bid again 
  68. twice. they are willing to pay, for your fish.  Just click on the button 
  69. under the price to sell. Then type in the number of SETS of 20 fish each
  70. for the amount specified.

  72. Buy fish: Click on this to buy fish for your hatchery.  From here you can
  73. see who your sellers are, and buy fish from them.  Try bidding a little by
  74. pressing the "Bid" button.  Remmember, you are only allowed to bid again 
  75. twice.  Press the button under your final price to buy. Then type in the 
  76. number of SETS of 20 fish each you will sell your fish for the amount 
  77. specified.

  79. To leave the office, press "Leave Office"   
  80.  
  81. Hire workers: Click on this button to hire workers, or fire them.  To hire
  82. workers, press "Hire More Workers", and type in the number of workers you
  83. wish to hire, for the fee of 20 dollars for each worker hired.  Press 
  84. "Fire Workers", and type in the number of workers you wish to fire, and 
  85. you pay 15 dollars for each worker fired (Compensation).

  87. To see how your fish are doing, click on any one of the hatching bins, and
  88. see.  They may be in fine condition, or in bad condition, in which case you
  89. may lose fish, and have to pay.

  91. You recieve an extra hatching bin for every 10,000 fish you have.

  93. To slow down or speed up game speed, press the right mouse button and select
  94. your choice.

  96. For help, press F1

  99. To save your game, pull down "Save game" from the file menu, and type in a 
  100. file name.  To load a game, pull down "Load game" from the file menu, and 
  101. select a file.
