- Installating Bridge for Windows Shareware Version
-
- To install Bridge for Windows, follow these steps:
-
- Before you can use Bridge for Windows you have to run the setup program
- from Windows so it will work properly on your computer. You cannot just
- copy the files from the Bridge for Windows disk to your hard disk. The
- files on the distribution disk are packed in a special way to save space.
- The setup program unpacks those files and builds them on your working disk.
-
- Bridge for Windows installation will pre-install the Visual Basic runtime
- DLL on your system, if you do not already have a version. Other runtime
- files will be installed in the appropriate directory. Windows version
- stamping resources will be used to ascertain if a file should be copied
- to your computer.
-
- 1. From the DOS Prompt: Use PKUNZIP Version 2.04 or higher and unzip the
- file into a single directory, such as C:\Bridge. The following files
- are included in the zip file.
