  2.         Installating Bridge for Windows Shareware Version
  3.  
  4. To install Bridge for Windows, follow these steps:
  5.  
  6.   Before you can use Bridge for Windows you have to run the setup program 
  7.   from Windows so it will work properly on your computer. You cannot just 
  8.   copy the files from the Bridge for Windows disk to your hard disk. The 
  9.   files on the distribution disk are packed in a special way to save space. 
  10.   The setup program unpacks those files and builds them on your working disk.
  11.   
  12.   Bridge for Windows installation will pre-install the Visual Basic runtime
  13.   DLL on your system, if you do not already have a version.  Other runtime
  14.   files will be installed in the appropriate directory.  Windows version
  15.   stamping resources will be used to ascertain if a file should be copied
  16.   to your computer.

  18.   1. From the DOS Prompt: Use PKUNZIP Version 2.04 or higher and unzip the 
  19.      file into a single directory, such as C:\Bridge. The following files 
  20.      are included in the zip file.

  25.         bridge.exe
  26.         bridge.hlp
  27.         bridge.wri
  28.         mhcd200.vbr
  29.         mhgfrm.vbr

  35.         mhrun300.dll
  36.         mhcards.dll

  38.     File vbrun300.dll is also required, This can be obtained from compuserve
  39.     forum MSBASIC. Setup is not included in that it is not needed for this 
  40.     zipped version. Ignore any mention in the readme file.

  43.   2. In Windows, identify the program group in which you want to install
  44.      Bridge for Windows
  45.   
  46.   3. From Windows "Program Manager", select "File", then select "New" and
  47.      program item. Add Bridge.EXE with the directory you unzipped the files 
  48.      to in Step 1.

  50.   4. See files Readme.txt and Summary.txt for additional information
  51.   
  52.   Bridge for Windows can be registered either by completing a form in Readme.TXT 
  53.   or from Online Help. Alternatively, Bridge for Windows can be registered 
  54.   via Compuserve. Type "Go SWREG", Registration ID 1617
