  9. made for distribution at ECTS in September 1996. File system is dated 
  10. 1996-08-27.

  12. This disc is another treasure vault of information on early versions of 
  13. late-1990s games, including one unreleased title.

  35. Guardians: Agents Of Justice was delayed several times, cancelled in 1998, and 
  36. never released. This disc includes concept art, rendered 3D character models, 
  37. and screenshots of the version that existed in 1996. Surprisingly, some of the 
  38. same screenshots were used in gaming media articles written as late as 1998, 
  39. even though the interface was updated several times in those two years.

  46. X-COM: Apocalypse for the PC was not released until about 11 months after this 
  47. disc was created, so the material on this disc likely represents an early 
  48. prototype of the game.

  50. Star Trek: Generations was not released for the PC until about nine months 
  51. after this disc was created. The screenshots in the game include 
  52. development/debugging data such as the framerate and unknown code at the 
  53. bottom of the screen.

  55. Magic: The Gathering for the PC was not released until about seven months after 
  56. this disc was created, so the material on this disc likely differs from the 
  57. release build.

  59. The screenshots of Sid Meier's Civilization II are from a prototype build of 
  60. the game indicated as "Beta 1.05" and dated 1995-11-21, four months before the 
  61. game was released.

  73. background document in Word and text format explaining that Spectrum HoloByte 
  74. purchased MicroProse in 1993 and that the combined company is named Spectrum 
  75. HoloByte, despite the factory-pressed CD-ROM and its packaging exclusively 
  76. using the MicroProse name (including in the copyright statement).

  78. The case for the disc also lists a second set of titles under the heading 
  79. "POWERPLUS", but there is no content related to them on the disc, and only 
  80. room in the case for a single disc.
