  6. What It Does
  7. ------------

  9. It changes your desktop wallpaper each time you run windows. So, you can have 
  10. several wallpaper files in your windows subdirectory, and each time you run 
  11. windows, a different wallpaper will be selected.

  13. By default it prompts you to see if you want the bitmap changed. It also requires that 
  14. your bitmaps are stored in .ZIP files. (You'll need a PKUNZIP.PIF somewhere on 
  15. your PATH). You can specify which directory contains your bitmaps. See the HLP file.

  17. Requirements
  18. ------------

  20. NewPaper requires Windows 3.0 or later and one or more BMP files (to use as 
  21. wallpaper) in your Windows subdirectory. Your bitmaps must be stored as .ZIP files, 
  22. and PKUNZIP.PIF must be available on your PATH.

  24. How to Install NewPaper
  25. -----------------------

  27. 1.    Place NEWPAPER.EXE in a directory on your PATH. 
  28.  
  29. 2.    Make sure that PKUNZIP.PIF is also available on your PATH. 
  30.  
  31. 3.    Edit WIN.INI to add NEWPAPER.EXE to either the load= or run= line. 
  32.     Details are in Starting Newpaper through WIN.INI

  34. 4.    That's it. However, some other options are documented in the accompanying 
  35.     Windows Help file. For example, you can move your bitmaps out of the 
  36.     Windows directory and you can use WUNZIP instead of PKUNZIP.
