  16.  Created this version to run on computers that refused to run version 3.01
  17.  due to a new and unforseen hardware bug between windows and a very few
  18.  computers. We implemented most of the changes execpt for the function that
  19.  was causing the strange hardware problem. Users of version 3.0W will have
  20.  all of the functionality of version 3.0W.

  23.  Version 3.0W
  24.  As promised version 3.0W of Zip Manager will now function properly
  25.  on computers with the bios compatibility problem that version 3.0
  26.  detected. We discovered a way to bypass the this incompatibility and
  27.  deliver a stable product for all windows users.

  29.  We are developing a separate program called WinDoctor that will examine your
  30.  current hardware and report any incompatibilities found. In addition it
  31.  will check you ram to verify that every chip is in proper working condition.
  32.  It will also check your video card and video memory for any incompatibilities.
  33.  WinDoctor should be available around the first of December 1990. You are
  34.  welcome to call the BBS nearer the release date for further information.

  37.  Published and included in the documentation the zmdiag.txt file after
  38.  discovering that the way in which Zip Manager executes its DOS programs
  39.  gave it the uncanny ability to locate and identify bios chips that were
  40.  not fully compatible with windows.

  47.  that have the older 2.X version of Zip Manager. We would be most
  48.  grateful if you could pass this one along. Please leave a comment
  49.  to the sysop to remove any previous version of Zip Manager he may
  50.  have on his board.

  74.  Before you tear off and start Zipping and UnZipping the daylights out of your
  75.  files. It is IMPERATIVE that if you were using version 2.X of Zip Manager
  76.  that you read the Installation portion on the documentation. Failure to do
  77.  so could and most likely WILL cause you to have a problem trying to
  78.  run Zip Manager 3.0W  It is a completely new program that has nothing in
  79.  common with the previous versions. You should also read the update.doc file
  80.  for important information specific to version 3.0W of Zip Manager.

  82.  ----------------------> Printing The Documentation <------------------------

  84.  All of the documentation including this file, is formatted to print correctly
  85.  on a Dot Matrix or HP LaserJet(or Compatible Printer). Included is a program
  86.  called prndocs.exe. It will print all of the documentation including this
  87.  file to the printer installed on LPT1. If your prefer to use the program
  88.  before reading the documentation, at least be sure to read the update.doc
  89.  file.
