  1. Welcome to Organize!. The most innovative, easiest to use and most cost
  2. effective PIM (Personal Information Manager) for Microsoft(R) Windows(TM).

  4. WHAT IS ORGANIZE!
  5. -----------------
  6. Organize! looks and feels exactly like a diary, making it one of the easiest 
  7. to use software ever. No matter how disorganized you are, Organize! can 
  8. organize it all for you and without sticking to a system that all PIMs 
  9. impose on their customers and there is no need to plough through thick 
  10. manuals. Because of its innovative design, you add functions as you need 
  11. them. There are no unnecessary functions to clutter your way, steepening 
  12. the learning curve unnecessarily.

  14. Organize! can flip pages like the real thing with binders that click open
  15. to insert pages. But most important, it uses a Word in Context system to
  16. manage random and structured personal information that you enter into the 
  17. diary. With this system you will never loose your way again in a software.

  21. This document supercedes the documentation in version 1.0 of Organize!.
  22. Those who have registered with version 1.0 would get their free upgrades

  28. The uncompressed system should consist of the following files.
  29. 1. readme.txt    - This file. Containing the latest changes and info.
  30. 2. organize.exe  - The program file. 
  31. 3. example.dn    - Example file to illustrate 'Word in Context' method
  32. 4. week.dn       - Template file with weekly goals, keyword is WEEK #
  33. 5. order.txt     - Registration form
  34. 6. manual.wri    - 8Online manual in Windows write format

  37. THE SHAREWARE CONCEPT (USER SUPPORTED SOFTWARE)
  38. ----------------------------------------------
  39. You are encouraged to copy and share the program freely with others.  
  40. You have the luxury of trying out the complete program, at your own pace 
  41. in the luxury of your own home or workplace. Except for limiting the 
  42. diary to the end of 1991, this is not a crippled or "demo" copy.

  44. If, after trying out the programs, you decide to continue to use them,
  45. you can purchase the programs from the program's author, a process known 
  46. as registration.

  48. When you share this software with others, please include all the files as
  49. shown in the packing list. Compress it in library format if you are 
  50. uploading onto any BBS.

  54. If you find this program useful you should register to get the complete 
  55. version. Registration fee is only US$25 if you register before 9th August 
  56. 1990 and US$35 afterwards. Please look at order.txt for details.

  86. This version 1.1 supports all the memory modes of Windows 3.0. and is also 
  87. backward compatible to Windows 2.1A future version will support all the memory 
  88. modes of Windows 3.

  90. I am now building a new version that is Windows 3 specific and would include 
  91. enhanced features like support for DDE, page deletion, book marking, more 
  92. complete data manipulation, changeable passwords and yet with data encryption
  93. etc. It would be a whole bagfull and may be released in parts. Registered users
  94. will have the opportunity to upgrade free or at low prices.

  125. Shareware distributors and BBS. If you are interested to distribute
  126. Organize! please drop me a note so that I can keep you updated on the
  127. latest version of Organize!.

  129. You are required to do the following when distributing the software
  130.  
  131. 1. A fee of not more than US$10 is to be charged. This fee is for the cost
  132.    of diskette, shipping and handling.

  134. 2. The files and programs on the disks cannot be modified in any way,
  135.    and must always be distributed together.

  137. 3. The program cannot be sold as part of some other more inclusive
  138.    package.

  140. 4. When distributed via computerized bulletin boards or any other
  141.    telecommunications link the following must be done:

  143.    a. Some error checking protocol must be used for uploading.
  144.    b. The files must be compressed together in library format.

  147.    classroom, you must inform them that this is a user supported or 
  148.    shareware program and that after adequate evaluation and if they so 
  149.    choose it to use it permanently, they must register with the author.
