  6. -  The limit on icons available has been lifted.  You can now have the
  7.    full 16 icons available on screen.
  8.  
  9. -  There now only need to be 16 program description lines in the APPDOCK.INI
  10.    file.

  12. -  An Information Screen has been added to the About.. dialog box.
  13.  
  14. -  Now if you specify a directory for Application Dock to look for it's
  15.    INI in, you must also specify the file name. (ex APPDOCK C:\APPDOCK.INI)

  19. 0.90  Initial version, never distributed.  Conained basic structure only.

  21. 1.00  First version distributed on a very limited basis.  Buggy, and hard
  22.       to work with.

  24. 1.01  All bugs from 1.0 fixed - now fully functional, except for limitation
  25.       on icons (only 8 available) and reminder boxes

  27. 1.20  Latest shareware release - updated with a few bugs corrected.
  28.       Limitation on number of icons removed, but startup reminder box
  29.       still present.

  31. 1.50  Initial registered version - included interactive Application Dock
  32.       editor v1.0 plus other small improvements.

  34. 1.60  Most recent (7/23/91) version available upon registration - includes
  35.       Application Dock Interactive Editor v1.1, ability ot minimize dock,
  36.       and option to run a program not in dock.

  38. Known Bugs At This Point:
  39. -------------------------
  40. -  Currently the program depends on Microsoft's Twip coordinate system
  41.    for sizing and positioning the dock.  Some Super-VGA drivers do not use
  42.    standard dots-per-inch settings for the display.  At worst, this will
  43.    make Application Dock look stranger than usual, but it will still 
  44.    function.  I am working on a fix, but until Microsoft updates Visual 
  45.    Basic to allow me to change ALL of the scaling modes for my application,
  46.    a fix is unlikely.
  47.  
  48. -  Currently the program cannot be set as the system shell.  This is due to 
  49.    some bug in Visual Basic, and not in my programming.  Again, I await a fix from Microsoft.

  51. What's In the Future:

  53. -  Support for multiple INI files.

  55. -  The ability to get icons directly from application files.
  56.  
  57. -  Auto detection of Video Mode and resolution to eliminate need for location settings in
  58.    APPDOCK.INI.

  60. -  An optional parameter prompt before running a program.
  61.  
  62. -  On-line help via Windows Help.
  63.  
  64. -  Improved interactive editor for APPDOCK.INI.
  65.  
  66. -  Larger and more diverse sample icon library.
