  10.     This file is intended for those who have earlier versions 
  11.     of Aporia and wish to see what we've added.

  13. List of Changes in Version 1.4c
  14.     * Aporia comes with a NEW Windows based setup program that is
  15.         much easier to use.  The new program, SETUPAP.EXE, is 
  16.         run from within Windows 3.0.  Users of Windows 2.x must
  17.         run this program from the DOS prompt.  Read AP_READ.ME
  18.         for instructions on how to run this program.
  19.     * Image files are now supplied in files AIF_16.PCK and 
  20.         AIF_256.PCK.  They are extracted from these files by 
  21.         the setup program SETUPAP.EXE.
  22.     * SETUPAP.EXE can be used to change whether or not Aporia is
  23.         the Windows shell.

  26.     * Problem fixed where clicking below the last directory in
  27.         the Tree tool window could cause Aporia to crash.

  30.     * Problem fixed with setup program (SETUP_AP.EXE) hanging when
  31.         run on some networks. Setup program now requires
  32.         that you specify the directory where you have Windows
  33.         installed and the version of Windows you are using.

  35.         setup on some networks could cause Aporia to crash.  
  36.     * Problem fixed where an "I" drive (that does not exist) could 
  37.         appear on some systems having only one floppy drive.

  42.  -New Features:
  43.     * Aporia now lets you create many more tools. You can create
  44.         up to 250, more than twice as many as previous versions.
  45.     * The Tree Tool can now handle HUGE disk drives containing 
  46.         up to 2,700 directories.
  47.     * Creating tools from Program Manager setup has been 
  48.         completely redone. Aporia now lets you choose which 
  49.         groups you want to convert and warns you if you try 
  50.         to create too many tools.
  51.     * Aporia now comes with two image file libraries. One for 
  52.         EGA, VGA and SuperVGA in 16 color modes and another 
  53.         for SuperVGA in 256 color modes. If you have an 
  54.         unsupported type of display, tools automatically display 
  55.         the built-in monochrome images.
  56.     * Directory Tool window now uses standard Windows selection
  57.         methods. Use Control key to select multiple file, 
  58.         use Shift key to extend a selection.
  59.     * New BLANK NOW command on Aporia menu lets you turn on the
  60.         screen blanker on demand.
  61.     * Registered users can now specify the text that will appear
  62.         on the screen when the screen blanker is on by adding
  63.         the line "BlankName=text" to the Aporia section of the 
  64.         WIN.INI file.
  65.     * Screen blanker now works when a DOS windows has the input
  66.         focus. When a DOS window has the focus the blanker delay
  67.         time is increased by a factor of 4.
  68.     * Blanker re-activiates the last active window.
  69.  
  70.   -Fixes:
  71.     * Problems with Aporia running out of local memory have 
  72.         been fixed.
  73.     * Problems with floppy drives have been fixed. The Tree Tool 
  74.         will not close when you try to change to a floppy drive 
  75.         that is not ready.
  76.     * Problems when creating new directories under certain 
  77.         conditions have been fixed.
  78.     * Problems with setup program on certain networks have been
  79.         fixed.
  80.     * Problems with renaming directories when running DOS 4.x 
  81.         have been fixed.
  82.     * A number of subtle memory bugs which could cause crashes
  83.         under certain conditions have been fixed.
  84.     * Properly saves Help and Notes information on a per tool basis.
  85.     * Gracefully handles those cases where users installed
  86.         the 16 color images on 256 color windows installations. 
  87.     * Aporia runs programs immediately even when there are hundreds of tools.
  88.         (Exception: A tool that sizes a window will have a delay.)

  106.     * Changes to help tool alignment... Moving a desk will move the
  107.         tools inside the desk. It will not move a desk it contains.
  108.         Holding down the ctrl-key while moving will move the desk only.
  109.     * Old Alignment removed. (While 'correct' it was too strange for most).
  110.         Will provide a straightening function on a later release.
  111.     * Problem with autocreate of tools from group files fixed:
  112.         - only searches path for group files now, 
  113.         - no duplicate groups should be made now,
  114.         - should handle low tool memory situation more gracefully.
  115.           (you are limited to about 150 tools or so. this limit 
  116.           will go away.)
  117.     * Setup program asks users if they are using a color system
  118.         and will not install the images library, which is in color, onto
  119.         systems that are monochrome.
