  1. Almanac Registration Options
  2.  
  3. Almanac can be registered for use with the following package options:
  4.  
  5. Basic Registration
  6. ------------------
  7.  
  8. With the Basic registration you will receive a license number which will
  9. prevent the shareware screen from soliciting you for $$$ and also display
  10. your name as a registered user at start-up.  This registration will be
  11. good for all future shareware versions of Almanac.  The basic registration
  12. does not include update disks, a manual, or any other service.  It is up
  13. to the you to acquire any future releases of Almanac through the normal
  14. shareware distribution outlets such as electronic bulletin boards,
  15. shareware mail order catalogs, etc.
  16.  
  17. Premium Registration
  18. --------------------
  19.  
  20. With each Premium registration you will receive the latest version of
  21. Almanac on either 5.25 or 3.5 inch floppy disks.  This version will contain
  22. its own license number and will not display a shareware screen upon startup.
  23. Along with your new software you will receive a bound, typeset, operation
  24. manual for Almanac.  As a premium user, you will be notified of new
  25. releases of Almanac and their features and will be offered upgrade packages
  26. at a discount rate.

  28. Registration Upgrades
  29. ---------------------

  31. A Premium Upgrade option is available for users who have a Basic
  32. registration and would like to upgrade to Premium.  Shareware users who
  33. have registered prior to September 30, 1990 and would like to upgrade to
  34. the full-service Premium registration may do so at a 50% discount rate.

  89. If you are requesting an upgrade package, please be sure to enter your name
  90. requested above exactly as it appears on your current registration.  Also
  91. include your registration name and number in the space provided.  If you
  92. do not have your registration information handy, your registered name and
  93. number can be found in your Windows configuration file, WIN.INI.  The
  94. WIN.INI file is located in your Windows directory and can be viewed with
  95. the Windows Notepad application.  Your registration information will be
  96. located under the [Almanac] section in the 'RegName=' and 'Reg#='  fields.

  98. Premium upgrades at reduced rates are only available to users registered
  99. before September 30, 1990.  You do not have to include proof of
  100. registration date.  This information has been recorded during processing
  101. of your registration.  Unauthorized requests for upgrades will be returned.

  104. processed upon receipt of the current equivalent of U.S. funds in check
  105. or money order (cash discouraged, but accepted).
