  25.  and others have been using it for months without problems.

  29.  or problems with the program.

  95.            HOW TO INSTALL ADDRESS MANAGER

  97.   Use our snazzy setup program...

  99.     1) Close down all extraneous Windows applications.  
  100.        (You do have to be in Windows to run SETUP.EXE)

  102.     2) Double-Click on the SETUP.EXE program.
  103.  
  104.     3) When the setup program asks for a directory, specify initial 
  105.        directory, or accept the given default (C:\ADDRESS).

  108.   NOTE: ONCE YOU HAVE ADDRESS MANAGER UP AND RUNNING, SELECT THE 
  109.     FILE/SETTINGS... MENU AND PUT YOUR CORRECT AREA CODE INSIDE.

  113.       CONVERTING DATA FROM OTHER FORMATS
  114.  
  115.  A handy conversion utility, written in our *just wonnerful* Windows batch
  116.  language, WinBatch, has been provided for your convenience.  You will find
  117.  a compiled version of the batch file on the diskette (ADIMPORT.EXE).  
  118.  
  119.  Tto convert your pre-existing data files, follow the steps below.
  120.  
  121.  1) Make an input file in our standard format.  The input file for ADIMPORT
  122.  may be either comma or tab delimited.  Items may be enclosed within double
  123.  quotes.  Most any product can export these types of files.  dBase, 123,
  124.  Excel, and most any reasonable program can export these files.
  125.  
  126.  2) If the fields your program manages to export are not in our 
  127.  "standard format", use a product like Excel, 123, AsEasyAs, dBase,
  128.  PC-File, or many others to move the columns around.  
  129.  (Consult the product documentation or their tech support people to
  130.  do this.  Don't call us, we don't have a clue.)
  131.  
  132.  3) You MUST use the IN extension.  A valid file name would be ADIMPORT.IN
  133.  
  134.  4) Oh.  Our standard format is defined below.  All the following lines 
  135.  will work.  (Oh and where you see a %, we really mean TAB)

  138.    The input file for ADIMPORT may be either comma or tab delimited.

  174.  data file.  Now you are ready.  Run the ADIMPORT.EXE or the ADIMPORT.WBT
  175.  file, Select the desired file to import, specify type of file (Tab or
  176.  Comma delimited) and watch.  (About 8 seconds an address on my machine)

  186.  WINAPA forum, in the Wilson WindowWare section (#15 currently).  Also
  187.  the latest and greatest downloads are available from DL15 of the
  188.  WINAPA forum.  The Wilson WindowWare section of the WINAPA forum
  189.  is checked on a daily basis, and all questions will be responded to.

  191.  The FidoNet Windows echomail conference is also monitored for Windows
  192.  questions in general.  Questions about Windows and Address Manager will
  193.  be answered in the echo.

  228.  Address Manager is not and has never been public domain 
  229.  software, nor is it free software. 
  230.  
  231.  Non-licensed users are granted a limited license to use Address
  232.  Manager on a 21-day trial basis for the purpose of determining 
  233.  whether Address Manager is suitable for their needs.  The use 
  234.  of Address Manager, except for the initial 21-day trial, 
  235.  requires registration.  The use of unlicensed copies of Address 
  236.  Manager, outside of the initial 21-day trial, by any person, 
  237.  business, corporation, government agency or any other entity is 
  238.  strictly prohibited.

  240.  A single user license permits a user to use Address Manager
  241.  only on a single computer.  Licensed users may use the
  242.  program on different computers, but may not use the program
  243.  on more than one computer at the same time.

  245.  No one may modify or patch the Address Manager executable files 
  246.  in any way,  including but not limited to decompiling, 
  247.  disassembling, or otherwise reverse engineering the program.

  249.  A limited license is granted to copy and distribute Address

  269.        time-dependent charge for the use of the bulletin board

  271.        charge for the download of Address Manager.

  273.     B) Vendors of user-supported or shareware software approved by
  274.        the ASP may distribute Address Manager, subject to the
  275.        above conditions, without specific permission.  Non-
  276.        approved vendors may distribute Windows Reminder only after
  277.        obtaining written permission from Wilson WindowWare.
  278.        Such permission is usually granted.  Please write for
  279.        details (enclose your catalog).  Vendors may charge a
  280.        disk duplication and handling fee, which, when pro-rated
  281.        to the Address Manager product, may not exceed eight dollars.

  283.     C) Non-profit user groups may distribute copies of the 
  284.        Address Manager diskette to their members, subject to 
  285.        the above conditions, without specific permission.  
  286.        Non-profit groups may collect a disk duplication fee 
  287.        not to exceed five dollars.

  289.   LIMITED WARRANTY

  291.   Wilson WindowWare guarantees your satisfaction with this
  292.   product for a period of 90 days from the date of original
  293.   purchase.  If you are unsatisfied with Address Manager
  294.   within that time period, return the package in saleable
  295.   condition to the place of purchase for a full refund.

  297.   Wilson WindowWare warrants that all disks provided are
  298.   free from defects in material and workmanship, assuming
  299.   normal use, for a period of 90 days from the date of
  300.   purchase.

  302.   Wilson WindowWare warrants that the program will perform
  303.   in substantial compliance with the documentation supplied
  304.   with the software product.  If a significant defect in
  305.   the product is found, the Purchaser may return the
  306.   product for a refund.  In no event will such a refund
