  2. Each event is a list of DOS commands which perform a function or a few closely
  3. related functions.
  4.  
  5. For example, an event can be defined which runs a group of daily reports. The
  6. DOS commands to run the reports are entered in the same way that they would be
  7. entered at the DOS prompt.
  8.  
  9. Each event has a description which may be changed from this list, by TABing to
  10. the description and typing over the existing description.
  11.  
  12. Use the arrow keys, HOME, END, Page Up, Page Down, TAB and Shift-TAB to move
  13. through the list of events.

  16. These are the functions performed when the following key is pressed:

  18. F1 - Display Help screen
  19.  
  20. F2 - Edit event
  21.      Add or change the existing DOS commands for the event.
  22.  
  23. F3 - Add event
  24.      Create a new event, enter the description and the DOS commands.
  25.  
  26. F4 - Delete event
  27.      Delete an existing event. The event selected will be deleted, and the
  28.      file of events associated with the event. EVENTMAN will ask you to
  29.      confirm before the event is deleted.
  30.  
  31. F5 - Define processes
  32.      Set up processes which use the events defined. A process is a list of
  33.      events which is set to start at the given date and time. A process can
  34.      be set to execute once or to repeat at a given interval.
  35.  
  36. F6 - Save event list and return to DOS prompt.
