  9. v6.0   2/22/90 The CFG program  will now allow you to  optionally
  10.        use extended background colors
  11.        When  editing a file  SHEZ will now  only save the editted
  12.        file  back into the  compressed file if  the file has been
  13.        modified.
  14.        The CFG  program will  no longer  reset the serial  number
  15.        when reconfiguring SHEZ.
  16.        The CFG  program  will now  also allow  you  to update  an
  17.        external configuration file if one is found.
  18.        The default extract  path can now be set and  saved in the
  19.        configuration information.
  20.        The CFG program will now allow you to set the function key
  21.        highlight colors.
  22.        Most single letter  prompts no longer require the  user to
  23.        press the enter key.
  24.        When the  main DOS file  list is sorted,  directories will
  25.        always appear at the top of the list.
  26.        When using the speed search  option on the DOS file  list,
  27.        pressing a letter or a number will position you first to a
  28.        directory  name, then  if  the same  letter  or number  is
  29.        pressed again you will be positioned to the first matching
  30.        file.
  31.        When  entering a  filespec without  directory information,
  32.        SHEZ will default to the current default directory for the
  33.        specified or default drive.
  34.        The file  times  is now  displayed  in the  DOS  directory
  35.        window, and is used when sorting the list by date.
  36.        Support was added for LZH compression method 2.05.
  37.        Support  was added  to convert  an LZH  file from  the old
  38.        compression method to the new compression method by simply
  39.        converting the LZH file to itself.
  40.        (NOTE:  LEVEL 2 HEADERS  FOR LHA 2.05  IS NOT SUPPORTED IN
  41.        THIS VERSION OF SHEZ)
  42.        Support was added for the ARJ compression method.

  44. v5.9   11/9/90 When  extracting from  a  ZIP file  that has  been
  45.        created with  authenticity mode  SHEZ will  pause allowing
  46.        you to see the authenticity message.
  47.        When tagging files on the main  screen then pressing ALT-Z
  48.        to scan  for viruses,  the tag count  is incorrect--fixed.
  49.        Added  command CTL-X to immediately exit SHEZ and goto the
  50.        extract path.

  68.        SHEZ  will now  operate  on files  that  are contained  in
  69.        Hidden directories.
  70.        When  renaming individual  files the  TO: prompt  will now
  71.        contain   the  orginial   filename,  including   disk  and

  73.        Sorting the main file list by name will now also  sort the
  74.        directory names. In addition when the file  list is sorted
  75.        by name you can use the speed  search facility to position
  76.        the highlight bar to a directory.

  79.        When running PKZIP in authentic mode SHEZ will exclude the
  80.        file AVEXTRA.TXT.

  82. v5.8   10/02/90 Pressing  the ESC key will  eventually exit SHEZ.
  83.        The authenticity  warning message now appears  in the same
  84.        color as the help screen.
  85.        The  ALT-E command was  added on  the main file  window to
  86.        invoke the editor on the highlighted file.
  87.        The Plus +  and Minus - keys can be used  to tag and untag
  88.        files. The environment variable SHEZCFG can now be used to
  89.        tell SHEZ  to read  it's configuration information  from a
  90.        configuration file.
  91.        When  tagged files  that  where contained  in a  secondary
  92.        compressed file, the tags  remained when reverting back to
  93.        the orginial  compressed file.  (This bug has  been fixed)
  94.        Support for PAK release 2.5 has been added.
