- The Peruse package is too large to fit on a single diskette.
- Because of this, the Peruse package has been "compressed" into
- two self-extracting archive files - PERUSE1.EXE and PERUSE2.EXE.
-
- When you run PERUSE1.EXE or PERUSE2.EXE, it will extract itself
- into one or more files. The main READ.ME file is contained
- within PERUSE1.EXE, please be sure to examine this file before
- using Peruse. Thanks for trying Peruse (by the way, it's free)!
-
-
- If you have a hard disk:
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- Simply copy the two .EXE files into the subdirectory of your
- choice. Type "PERUSE1" <Enter> and the first file will extract
- or "uncompress" itself. Then type "PERUSE2" <Enter> and the
- second file will extract itself. You may then delete PERUSE1.EXE
- and PERUSE2.EXE from your hard disk, as they will no longer be
- needed.
-
-
- If you have two floppy diskette drives:
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- Place the Peruse diskette in drive A: and a blank formatted
- diskette in drive B:. Make B: the current drive by typing "B:"
- <Enter>. Then type "A:PERUSE1" <Enter> and the main Peruse file
- will uncompress itself onto the diskette in drive B:.
-
- Once this is completed, place another blank formatted diskette in
- drive B: and repeat the process for the second compressed file
- (PERUSE2.EXE).
