  2.    Floppy disk format performance data.

  4.    The following format performance data was derived while operating the
  5.    DOS FORMAT command and FormatMaster (FM) on an AST 20mhz 386 running
  6.    DOS 5.0.  Performance data derived from operations in other machine
  7.    and/or DOS environments will differ.
  8.  
  9.    Full format and verification, no label or system transfer:

  31.    New-Ware has formatted thousands of low-priced bulk diskettes with FM
  32.    in the non-verification mode and used these diskettes for product
  33.    shipment.  The rate of bad disk returns and the rate of diskettes
  34.    rejected during the duplication process are vanishingly low.  If you
  35.    are using quality diskettes and time is of the essence, you can
  36.    safely format diskettes without the verification process.  Even so,
  37.    FM issues a warning during non-verified formatting.
