- Enter your six character password to access the
- EZCONFIG customization utility.
- <ezconfig>
- Press ALT_C to customize your EZ MENU colors.
- Press ALT_M to input your Menu definitions.
- Press ALT_Q or F10 to exit without saving your choices.
- Press ALT_S to exit and save your choices to the EZMENU.CFG file.
- <colorcon>
- You will have 16 choices ranging from 0-Black to 15-Bright White.
- Text colors can be any of these values, however background colors
- can only have the values of 0 through 7. Input your color choices
- as a two digit number such as "03" for the Cyan color or "15" for
- the Bright White color. The ALT+C key returns colors ,screen blank
- time and password to default values.
- <ez_pass >
- Enter a six character password to be used to access EZ MENU and
- EZCONFIG. If no password is desired, leave this field blank.
- All of the characters are echoed here. However, when EZ MENU or
- EZCONFIG ask you for a password, your input will not be echoed.
- <blackout>
- This is the amount of time of keyboard inactivity before the screen
- blanks. Choose a two digit number such as "04" for four minutes.
- Since the screen blanking feature is designed to protect your
- monitor from burn-in, choose a number around 4 or 5 minutes. You
- may choose a number as high as 99 minutes if you would like. The
- ALT+C key returns screen blank time AND colors to default values.
- <path >
- Enter the DOS path of your application program. Example:
- "C:\ezmenu\ezmenu.exe". You many add a limited amount of
- command-line parmeters after the program name. For sub-menus,
- enter a name that you will use to name a menu definitions file.
- The name shall not be longer than 8 characters in length. It
- should match exactly the name you use to name your menu
- definitions file for a sub-menu.
- <menudef >
- Input the name of your program name or menu name as you would like to
- see it appear in the menu. You may use one or more words.
- <delete >
- Make sure this is the line that you want to delete.
- By answering 'Y'es you will delete the line. By answering
- 'N'o you will return without deleting.
- <saveonot>
- Enter 'Y'es to exit without saving any changes
- you may have made. Enter 'N'o to abort exiting
- without saving. Choose ALT+S to Save your changes.
- <menuname>
- This is the name of your menu definitions file of the programs
- on this page. Make sure you use a unique name that will not
- conflict with another menu definitions file. The name you give
- will be used as the title for the menu. EZ MENU uses this name
- and appends ".MNU" to access the correct menu file. The default
- for the first menu or Main is EZMAIN. EZ MENU always returns
- to this menu level after program execution.
- <menuedit>
- This is the name of the menu to either add
- or to edit an existing menu definition file.
