  2. Enter your six character password to access the
  3. EZCONFIG customization utility.
  4. <ezconfig>
  5. Press ALT_C to customize your EZ MENU colors.
  6. Press ALT_M to input your Menu definitions.
  7. Press ALT_Q or F10 to exit without saving your choices.
  8. Press ALT_S to exit and save your choices to the EZMENU.CFG file.
  9. <colorcon>
  10. You will have 16 choices ranging from 0-Black to 15-Bright White.
  11. Text colors can be any of these values, however background colors
  12. can only have the values of 0 through 7. Input your color choices
  13. as a two digit number such as "03" for the Cyan color or "15" for
  14. the Bright White color. The ALT+C key returns colors ,screen blank
  15. time and password to default values.
  16. <ez_pass >
  17. Enter a six character password to be used to access EZ MENU and
  18. EZCONFIG. If no password is desired, leave this field blank.
  19. All of the characters are echoed here. However, when EZ MENU or
  20. EZCONFIG ask you for a password, your input will not be echoed.
  21. <blackout>
  22. This is the amount of time of keyboard inactivity before the screen
  23. blanks. Choose a two digit number such as "04" for four minutes.
  24. Since the screen blanking feature is designed to protect your
  25. monitor from burn-in, choose a number around 4 or 5 minutes. You
  26. may choose a number as high as 99 minutes if you would like. The
  27. ALT+C key returns screen blank time AND colors to default values.
  28. <path    >
  29. Enter the DOS path of your application program. Example:
  30. "C:\ezmenu\ezmenu.exe". You many add a limited amount of
  31. command-line parmeters after the program name. For sub-menus,
  32. enter a name that you will use to name a menu definitions file.
  33. The name shall not be longer than 8 characters in length. It
  34. should match exactly the name you use to name your menu
  35. definitions file for a sub-menu.
  36. <menudef >
  37. Input the name of your program name or menu name as you would like to
  38. see it appear in the menu. You may use one or more words.
  39. <delete  >
  40. Make sure this is the line that you want to delete.
  41. By answering 'Y'es you will delete the line. By answering
  42. 'N'o  you will return without deleting.
  43. <saveonot>
  44. Enter 'Y'es to exit without saving any changes
  45. you may have made. Enter 'N'o to abort exiting
  46. without saving. Choose ALT+S to Save your changes.
  47. <menuname>
  48. This is the name of your menu definitions file of the programs
  49. on this page. Make sure you use a unique name that will not
  50. conflict with another menu definitions file. The name you give
  51. will be used as the title for the menu. EZ MENU uses this name
  52. and appends ".MNU" to access the correct menu file. The default
  53. for the first menu or Main is EZMAIN. EZ MENU always returns
  54. to this menu level after program execution.
  55. <menuedit>
  56. This is the name of the menu to either add
  57. or to edit an existing menu definition file.
