  6. Several months ago I decided to discontinue upgrading Swiss Army Shell.
  7. The last official release was version 2.4.
  8.  
  9. Swiss Army Shell will continue to be Shareware, with the stipulation
  10. that there will be no future upgrades.
  11.  
  12. Version 2.41 is a re-release of 2.4 with an increase in the directory
  13. limit to 150.
  14.  
  15. There are a few known bugs in Swiss Army Shell that I have simply not
  16. had time to catogorize and clobber.  There are no known bugs that will
  17. cause damage to files or directories (unless of course you tell SAS
  18. to do so!).

  20. Although naturally I consider Swiss Army Shell to be an excellant file
  21. management program, sales have not covered a tenth of the time and
  22. expense of writing and maintaining the program.  I am entirely too
  23. busy (50+ hr/wk job + wife + kids) to spend any time continuing
  24. development of a non-profitable product.  Besides, it already does
  25. almost everything I want it to do, and the feature creature has an
  26. endless appetite.

  28. This does not mean that I am releasing Swiss Army Shell to the public
  29. domain.  I continue to solicit registrations since I feel that it
  30. is a useful program that is worth much more than the registration fee.

  33. appreciate your support, and will continue to provide phone support
  34. as long as anyone asks.
