  146.          funds are received.  No registration activity will be
  147.          required.  Allow sufficient mailing time before logging onto
  148.          the BBS.

  151.          duplicate names on the BBS.  User IDs are not issued, so the
  152.          BBS will only allow the single use of any given name.

  156.          names.  Spacing between names are not significant.

  162.          If the system does not recognize you, it is because you are
  163.          not yet registered, or more likely have not entered your full
  164.          name, initial and last name as shown above.  In either case,
  165.          you will be requested to register and then denied access to
  166.          the registered version of the software.  Continue to register
  167.          and then leave a message to SYSOP and the error can be
  168.          corrected quickly.

  170.          The registered version is down loaded as FINDxxx$.ZIP and
  171.          will require PKUNZIP to extract it.  All future versions may
  172.          be down loaded free of charge by registered owners.
  173.          Inside the ZIP file, there exists a second ZIP file
  174.          containing the ShareWare version of the software.  You are
  175.          may freely distribute the ShareWare software.

  177.          Any changes made to either ZIP file will corrupt the
  178.          Authenticity Verification of the file when it is extracted.
  179.          ZIP file shipped overseas do not have this feature.

  208.          How to navigate the Online Reference BBS:
  209.           
  210.          1) Connect and enter name, then password.
  211.           
  212.          2) Two info screens will be presented.
  213.           
  214.          3) At the prompt: Messages [NOVICE]: Your First Name
  215.             enter: F for the files area.
  216.           
  217.          4) At the prompt: Files [NOVICE]:
  218.             enter: L    to locate a file
  219.                    T    to search by title
  220.                    FIND to display any file with the letters FIND
  221.                    R    to receive a file
  222.                         FIND2xx$.ZIP is the registered version
  223.           
  224.          5) At the prompt: Protocols [NOVICE]:
  225.             enter  1    to select 1k-Xmodem
  226.                or  Z    to select Zmodem
  227.           
  228.             At this point the BBS will wait for your comm program
  229.             to begin the file transfer.

  233.                   ZMODEM -rr  - best performance and crash recovery
  234.                   XMODEM-1k   - good performance, no crash recovery
  235.                   XMODEM-CRC  - slow, fairly reliable
  236.                   XMODEM      - ok in a pinch

  238.          OLR BBS utilizes the most current registered Omen Technology
  239.          (tm) DSZ Zmodem program for all file transfers, and
  240.          encourages you to employ the Zmodem protocol.
