  7.         We want to thank you for you interest in Dis.  Many hours of
  8.     work went into the making of this program.  We feel it is a powerful
  9.     utility for anyone who uses DOS with any regularity.

  11.     DIS is an excellent tool for managing DOS files and
  12.     directories.
  13.  
  14.     Here is a list of some of the features found in Dis.

  16.       - Enables the simultaneous viewing of two drives or
  17.         directories on the screen
  18.  
  19.       - A 'pop-up' directory tree of each disk can be used for
  20.         changing directories, and copying files
  21.  
  22.       - Pull-down menus for selecting commands
  23.  
  24.       - A status window which reports the status of your system
  25.  
  26.       - Deleting
  27.             Mass file and subdirectory deleting
  28.             Delete a common file through the entire disk
  29.       - Copying
  30.             Copies files and entire directories
  31.       - Searching
  32.             Searches entire disks for a file or subdirectory
  33.       - Renames files and subdirectories
  34.       - Changes file attributes
  35.       - Changes file time and date
  36.       - Views file with a built in file browser
  37.       - Loads files into a user definable editor
  38.       - An external program (DISCONFG.EXE) allows you to configure:
  39.             The default colors
  40.             The default file sort options
  41.             Your own editor
  42.             Nine definable macros

  46.         The default color configuration for DIS is tuned for color use.
  47.     If you are using a monochrome monitor, it will be necessary to
  48.     execute 'DISCONFG.EXE' before executing 'DIS'.

  51.     helpful information on the operation of Dis.
