  8.         Although this is version 2.12, it is the first shareware
  9.         release of DPC.  DPC has a long history, but not in
  10.         shareware.  It started out as a program just to park my
  11.         one FlashCard 30 hard disk.  After a month of trying this
  12.         and that, DPC version 1.00 was done!  With another two weeks
  13.         of effort, DPC version 2.00 was done.  It supported multiple
  14.         hard disk drives.  Version 2.01 was done soon after ward to
  15.         report how many drives were attached.  Version 2.10 also
  16.         reported what cylinder the heads were parked at.  But, during
  17.         the testing, a bug was found.  DPC was not reporting the
  18.         correct number of hard drives.  That was soon corrected.

  20.         Version 2.12 is the result of about two months of effort
  21.         from myself and my friend, Ian Greenhoe.  Without him,
  22.         version 2.00 would still be in testing!  I would also
  23.         like to thank Jim Smith of Fire Mountain BBS for his efforts
  24.         in testing DPC with his multiple drives. Jim has also
  25.         help me in the past with distribution of programs.  His
  26.         efforts are really appreciated!!!  Thanks, Jim!  Last,
  27.         but not least, I would also like to thank Fred Gaspro of
  28.         Three Rivers BBS.  He also helped in testing DPC to
  29.         ensure its success.  Fred is also helping with distribution
  30.         of DPC.  Thanks, Fred!!  Without these people, DPC would
  31.         still only be a dream!

  33.         As you can see, DPC is a work that took many hours and
  34.         drew in many people.  Your registration will help in bring
  35.         high quality software for low prices.  Registering DPC
  36.         will show that DPC is a useful program and not just a waste
  37.         of time.  It will also ensure more programs of even greater
  38.         quality!

  43.         SQC :  Sqc is a command line driven program that let you
  44.         send printer escape codes to the printer and print files
  45.         with or without page breaks.  Codes can be sent to the
  46.         printer in many ways:  hexidecimal escape codes, octal
  47.         escape codes, decimal escape code, literal character, and
  48.         predefined opcodes (such as FF for Form Feed).  It is small,
  49.         fast, and flexible.  As of the date of June 15, 1990, Sqc
  50.         version 2.30 is available.  Sqc has been a shareware program
  51.         for about two years.  I continually update and support it.
  52.         To get it, call the boards listed in the documentation of
  53.         DPC (or listed below) or send $5 with your name, address, and
  54.         all other necessary information to:
