- Final release notes:
-
- Although this is version 2.12, it is the first shareware
- release of DPC. DPC has a long history, but not in
- shareware. It started out as a program just to park my
- one FlashCard 30 hard disk. After a month of trying this
- and that, DPC version 1.00 was done! With another two weeks
- of effort, DPC version 2.00 was done. It supported multiple
- hard disk drives. Version 2.01 was done soon after ward to
- report how many drives were attached. Version 2.10 also
- reported what cylinder the heads were parked at. But, during
- the testing, a bug was found. DPC was not reporting the
- correct number of hard drives. That was soon corrected.
-
- Version 2.12 is the result of about two months of effort
- from myself and my friend, Ian Greenhoe. Without him,
- version 2.00 would still be in testing! I would also
- like to thank Jim Smith of Fire Mountain BBS for his efforts
- in testing DPC with his multiple drives. Jim has also
- help me in the past with distribution of programs. His
- efforts are really appreciated!!! Thanks, Jim! Last,
- but not least, I would also like to thank Fred Gaspro of
- Three Rivers BBS. He also helped in testing DPC to
- ensure its success. Fred is also helping with distribution
- of DPC. Thanks, Fred!! Without these people, DPC would
- still only be a dream!
-
- As you can see, DPC is a work that took many hours and
- drew in many people. Your registration will help in bring
- high quality software for low prices. Registering DPC
- will show that DPC is a useful program and not just a waste
- of time. It will also ensure more programs of even greater
- quality!

- SQC : Sqc is a command line driven program that let you
- send printer escape codes to the printer and print files
- with or without page breaks. Codes can be sent to the
- printer in many ways: hexidecimal escape codes, octal
- escape codes, decimal escape code, literal character, and
- predefined opcodes (such as FF for Form Feed). It is small,
- fast, and flexible. As of the date of June 15, 1990, Sqc
- version 2.30 is available. Sqc has been a shareware program
- for about two years. I continually update and support it.
- To get it, call the boards listed in the documentation of
- DPC (or listed below) or send $5 with your name, address, and
- all other necessary information to:
-
- Daniel Baumberger
- 811 South Nevada Drive

-
- You will receive a shareware evalution copy of Sqc to try.
- In the future, Sqc will also support hexidecimal dumps of
