  4. Welcome and thanks for choosing to use this file!

  6. I don't really want to go into any big DEPTH on this product and
  7. no BIG Legal stuff, so heres all the basics.
  8.  
  9. What do I need to get this to work?
  10.      All you need is SCAN.EXE and PKUNZIP.EXE either in the
  11. directory where Unzipit resides or in your Dos path. You can
  12. update the SCAN and PKUNZIP as new releases are released.

  14. Reasons for making this program:
  15.      I have over maybe 500 or 600 programs that are backed up on
  16. diskette and felt the need to save a little cash, so the need
  17. came up to ZIP the programs and STORE more programs on less
  18. disks. I got a little tired of sitting there doing this:
  19.           md D:\pain
  20.           Pkunzip -d A:pain.zip D:\pain
  21.           Scan /a /d D:\pain
  22. So The need came up for me to write a little program on handling
  23. this problem and making life a little easier. And Wham-o, here it
  24. is!

  26. What exactly does this program do?
  27.      It will ask for a Drive and/or Directory that the Zip
  28. resides in. It will then print a listing of ALL the Zips located
  29. in that Drive/Directory. You then Choose the Zip to process. It
  30. will then ask for a Drive/directory to Unzip the file TO(It will
  31. make a directory if it doesn't exist). It then unzips the files
  32. with the "-D" parameter already set, so you can pull out any
  33. directories that might exist inside the archive. Once that is
  34. done, it will scan for Viruses and if one is found it will delete
  35. it(Check to make sure!). And Thats About it!

  37. ***LEGALITIES***
  38. All the legalities and Product rules are listed at the beginning
  39. of the program, the AUTHOR takes NO RESPONSIBILITES on damages in
  40. ANY way. You run the program at YOUR risk ONLY. I say this,
  41. because alot of people like to sit there and incorporate viruses
  42. into your work, and then the author gets the blame.

  44. I guarantee that this program has NO viruses incorporated in it
  45. by the author.

  47. THIS IS A BETA TEST AND MIGHT NOT BE COMPATIBLE IN SOME ASPECTS
  48. The program doesn't have any error checking and might remain a
  49. little buggy until I can get the time, and I won't be able to fix
  50. it unless you tell me the problem... 
  51. This program ran on a:  286 AT 10Mhz
  52.                         Color Monitor
  53.                         640k and 512k Ext.
  54.          !!!This program MIGHT not run on a Monochrome!!!
