  8.    A site license is required if installation or distribution of 4FILES within
  9. your company, institution, organization, government agency, or etc. can result
  10. in more than one simultaneous use of 4FILES.  To apply for a 4FILES Site
  11. License, please submit a registration form (see the file 4F_REGIS.TER) along
  12. with the appropriate fee.

  14.    License fees are based on the number of installations of the program, with
  15. a discount on the $20 registration fee per installation as follows:

  18.                               6 -  10    -15%
  19.                              11 -  25    -20%
  20.                              26 -  50    -25%
  21.                              51 -  75    -30%
  22.                              76 - 100    -35%
  23.                             101 - 200    -40%
  24.                             200 - 500    -45%
  25.                                   500+   -50%

  27.   A SAMPLE SITE LICENSE

  30.   This is a perpetual license for installation of 4FILES V-2M.C for use on not
  31.   more than _______ computers, terminals or workstations, by <company name>
  32.   in pursuit of its business, and is non-transferable.  It is also valid for
  33.   the same installed base for the V-3.0 upgrade, when available.  If at any
  34.   time the installed base becomes larger than the above number, the licensee
  35.   shall immediately apply for an amended license, including the appropriate
  36.   incremental payment from the above table.

  38.   Licensee shall assure that all use, handling and distribution of 4FILES
  39.   complies with the agreement contained in the program registration, and shall
  40.   make clear to all personnel who use 4FILES that it is a commercial,
  41.   copyrighted program which is NOT in the public domain, and that separate
  42.   registration or licensing is required for any use outside the scope of this
  43.   license.
