- Introduction

- PBack is the command line version of PC-Studio. It incorporates all
- of its' features, including auto-detection. However, its' advantage lies
- in that you can execute PBack from any .BAT file, or any program for that
- matter.

- System Requirements

- ■ IBM PC,XT,AT,PS/2 or 100% compatible.
- ■ 5k + size of sound file.
- ■ Color or monochrome monitor.

- Recommended Hardware:

- ■ 286/12MHz or better.
- ■ Hard disk

- PBack Command Line Options
- --------------------------

- The following is the format for the PBack command line:
-
- PBACK [switches][drive:][path][filename]
-
- The following are possible switches:
-
- ■ /S suppresses all output to the display, except for errors.
-
- ■ /Fx is the file format:
- ■ 1 for Macintosh sound files (default).
- ■ 2 for Amiga sound files.
-
- ■ /Rxxx is the playback rate up to 255. 54 is default if no auto-
- detect occurs.

- ■ /Ox is the slow-down rate between 1-4 inclusive. 2 is default.

- ■ /Vxxx is the volume level from 0-100 inclusive. 10 is default
- (no amplification).

- These playback settings are identical (in mechanism) to those in PC-Studio.
- Refer to the PC-Studio documentation (STUDIO.DOC) for a complete description
- of these settings.
